Official description of the call
First.- Recipients The recipients will be sports entities that meet the following requirements: 1.1 Be legally constituted, have their registered office and carry out sports activity in the municipality of Girona. 1.2 Be registered in the General Registry of Entities of the City Council and in the Registry of Sports Entities of the Catalan Sports Council of the Generalitat of Catalonia (in the case of non-profit entities). 1.3 Entities will have to be up to date with their tax and Social Security obligations. They will prove that they are up to date with the payment of their tax and Social Security obligations either by signing a declaration responsible for being up to date, or by providing the certificates issued by the corresponding administrations (State Agency for Tax Administration and Social Security Treasury), in the event that the subsidy is greater than €3,000. And in any case, authorizing the consultation and verification through the platforms enabled by the different public administrations, of the available data if they are not accredited and are essential for the resolution of the procedure. Sports entities will have to declare that they do not incur any incompatibility established in article 13.2 of the General Subsidies Law of November 17. 1.4 Comply with the mandatory registration in the Official Registry of Sports Professionals of Catalonia (ROPEC) to practice the profession, except in cases of mandatory membership (Law 3/2008, of April 23, on the exercise of sports professions). 1.5 Have a minimum of one year's experience and carry out continuous sporting activity during this time in the city of Girona. 1.6 Those sports entities that receive a direct nominative subsidy will be excluded. 1.7 In the case of sports corporations, they will only be eligible for line/program 1 – Grassroots sport promotion, and line 3. 1.8 If they apply for the subsidy call for the development of the ordinary activities of clubs and sports entities, 2023-2024 season, they will not be able to apply for the subsidy call for the promotion and promotion of school sports for the same season/year. 1.9 Comply with the Law on the Protection of Children and Adolescents (State Law 26/2015). Second.- Purpose This call aims to establish the criteria for the granting of subsidies to the city's sports entities, for the development of their ordinary activities during the 2023-2024 season with the aim of promoting, enhancing and diversifying the practice of sports activity in the city. Since this subsidy is included within the strategic subsidy plan 2024-2026 approved by the Plenary Session of the Girona City Council, on February 1, 2024, strategic line "Sports", program "Activities and support entities", within the area of Culture, Sports and Education. Program A, Subsidies for city sports entities, for the development of their ordinary activities during the sports season. Concession modality: competitive competition. The maximum total amount of the subsidy granted, for lines/programs 1 (basic sport promotion line up to 18 years old) and 2 (federated sport promotion line – adults – over 18 years old), may not be greater than the amount of €5,000.00 nor less than €500.00. In the event of an increase in the financial allocation, aid will be granted following the scoring order established in the resolution and according to the criteria established in the specific bases.
