ANNOUNCEMENT OF THE EXTRACT OF THE CALL FOR TRANSPORT AID IN THE OFFICIAL BULLETIN OF THE PROVINCE OF VALENCIA Announcement from the Alfafar City Council on the call for the granting of transport aid for young university students, in training cycles, artistic baccalaureate or higher artistic education, academic year 2024-2025. SUMMARY Resolution of the Local Government Board dated October 3, 2024 approving the call of the Alfafar City Council for the granting of transport aid for young university students, in training cycles, artistic baccalaureate or higher artistic education, academic year 2024-2025, through the competitive competition procedure. TEXT In accordance with the provisions of articles 17.3.b and 20.8.a of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies, the extract of the call is published, the full text of which can be consulted in the National Subsidies Database (www.infosubvenciones.es) and on the Alfafar City Council website. The identification code that has been assigned in the National Subsidies Database to the call is 789103. First. Regulatory bases. The granting of these subsidies will be governed by the provisions of this call and the General Subsidies Ordinance of the Alfafar City Council (its final approval published in BOP No. 24, of February 2, 2019); in Law 38/2003 of November 17, General Subsidies; in the General Regulations of the Subsidies Law approved by Royal Decree 886/2006, of July 21; in Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations; in Royal Decree 130/2019, of March 8, which regulates the National Subsidies Database and the advertising of subsidies and other public aid; and in the remaining administrative law rules that may be applicable, and failing that, the private law rules. The regulatory bases for the granting of these subsidies are contained in this call and in the General Subsidies Ordinance of the Alfafar City Council. Second. Object. The purpose of the call is to promote the access of young people in the municipality of Alfafar to education and training. The Department of Youth is calling for these grants for public transport for those young students residing in the municipality of Alfafar who are studying in-person or semi-in-person university studies for undergraduate, engineering or master's degrees, basic, intermediate or higher degree training cycles, artistic baccalaureate or higher artistic education. Expenses derived from public transportation for students of the aforementioned degrees, incurred during the 2024/2025 academic year, may be subject to a subsidy. Third. Beneficiaries. People who meet the following requirements will be eligible for the subsidies from this call: 1.- Be studying, in an educational center outside the town of Alfafar, any of the following official courses of the educational system: - Vocational Training Cycles of Basic, Intermediate or Higher level, - Official University Courses of Degree, Engineering or Master's Degree. - Artistic baccalaureate. - Higher Artistic Education. 2.- Be enrolled in at least 50% of the subjects or credits of the course, except in cases where the studies are being completed. Completing studies will be understood as completing the last credits or subjects necessary to complete the studies and obtain the corresponding degree in the current academic year. 3.- Be enrolled in face-to-face or semi-face-to-face mode. In the case of blended attendance, 50% of the total amount of aid is chosen based on the score obtained. 4.- That there is no offer of studies in the municipality of Alfafar that motivates the use of public transport. 5.- That the distance between the home and the study center requires the use of public transport, as it is greater than 2 km. 6.- Possess an administrative neighborhood in the municipality of Alfafar for at least 12 months, a requirement that must be met the day before the date of publication of this call. 7.- Be between 16 and 35 years old in the calendar year of the call. 8.- Not found incur
