Official description of the call
As many people as they wish may attend this call. Each participant may only present a maximum of three works. The posters presented must be original and unpublished, having not obtained prizes or second prizes in other contests or contests. Participants will be solely responsible for the content of their posters in terms of legal demands for image rights or plagiarism, according to current laws. The Lucena City Council will be exempt from all responsibility for any claim that may be made by a third party. The works will be of free technique, whenever their reproduction is possible, and must represent any image or act around our Patroness the Virgin of Araceli or the Aracelitan Civic-Religious Festivals. They must include the Shield of Lucena, the Emblem of the Excmo. Lucena City Hall with the name of the Festival Delegation and the city Logo, available at the Festival Delegation, located at Plaza Nueva nº 1, tfo. 957 50 04 10. They must include the following text: Aracelitan Festivals, from May 2 to 5, 2025. Lucena Declared of National Tourist Interest The poster must be made vertically, and the dimensions will be 70 cm high by 50 cm wide (including margins if any), and will be presented on a rigid support, protected and packaged. The winning work must also be delivered to this Town Hall in digital format (CD-ROM / DVD) with a minimum resolution of 300 d.p.i. and in one of the following formats: PSD, TIFF or high quality JPEG. A prize of one thousand five hundred euros (1,500.00 euros) is established. The amount will be subject to tax withholdings according to law. The application for participation will be submitted to the Information and Citizen Attention Service of the Lucena City Council, located at Plaza Nueva No. 1, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., or in any of the ways provided for in article 16.4 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations, using the application model that is attached as Annex I to these bases and which will be accompanied by the poster submitted for the competition. The deadline for submitting applications will be 10 days from the publication of the announcement in the Official Gazette of the Province of Córdoba, through the National Subsidies Database and on the Edict Board of the Lucena City Council. The posters will be presented without the author's signature, under a motto freely chosen by their authors, said motto must be stated in writing on the back of the work, as well as a sealed envelope with the name and phone number. of the author, also pasted on the back of the work. Only the envelope corresponding to the winning poster will be opened. Only the author of the winning work will provide a photocopy of their ID. and a responsible declaration of authorship of the work presented. (A model of the same is attached in Annex II of these bases), within a maximum period of 5 business days from the publication of the jury's decision on the electronic bulletin board of this City Council. Likewise, through this document you will present a responsible declaration that you are not subject to any of the prohibitions to obtain the status of beneficiary of subsidies, in accordance with the provisions of article 13 of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General of Subsidies, as well as that you do not receive aid for the same purpose and that you are up to date in compliance with your tax obligations, vis-à-vis Social Security and the Municipal Treasury; all of this without prejudice to the ex officio verifications that the City Council may carry out, which are authorized with the presentation of said Declaration. If the same person wins the contest for two consecutive years, they will not be able to participate in the next call, automatically forming part of the Jury's team of advisors. The author of the winning work may sign the original if he or she wishes, once the contest has failed. At the request of the author within a maximum period of 5 business days from the publication of the jury's decision on the electronic bulletin board of this City Council.
