Official description of the call

RULES FOR THE NATURALEZA MORALEJA VUELA 2024 NATURE PHOTO CONTEST 1.-PARTICIPANTS: Participation in the contest is open to all people, amateurs or professionals of photography, who are the authors of the images presented and own the rights to them, without any restrictions from agencies or companies. 2.- THEME: The contest will focus on wild birds, establishing the following categories: M1. Crane View The species to be portrayed is the Common Crane (Grus grus) in its natural habitat anywhere in the world. M2. Special Award for Serragatino Photographer Images taken by a photographer born or registered in one of the towns of the Sierra de Gata region will be awarded. The birds to be photographed will be those that are representative of a species/s in their habitat or in an emblematic place in the Sierra de Gata Region. When evaluating the images, the following criteria will be taken into account: Originality, composition and quality of the images Difficulty in achieving it and technique used. Singularity or spectacularity of the scenes. 3.- NUMBER OF JOBS. Each author can participate with a maximum of 4 images distributed in any of the 2 categories. The same photograph cannot be submitted in more than one category. 4.- NAME OF THE IMAGES. The names of the files sent must meet the following requirements. The name of the images must begin with the number of the category in which it participates (M1 or M2) followed by the title of the photo. Naming images incorrectly may result in disqualification of those images. 5.- FORMAT: The works will be presented in JPEG format of the highest quality. They will be free in concept and techniques, whenever their reproduction is possible. 6. PRESENTATION OF THE WORKS. The deadline will begin on October 28 and end on November 22, 2024. The works will be submitted only through the email registrar@moraleja.es. Participants must send, in addition to the photographs, a text file with the following information. Personal Data: Name and surname, telephone number and email. Image of the DNI on both sides. Image 1: (M1 or M2) + Title Image 2: (M1 or M2) + Title Image 3: (M1 or M2) + Title Image 4: (M1 or M2) + Title Each participant will be sent an email confirming receipt of the files and correct viewing of the images. Once all the images have been received, they will be delivered to the jury, preserving the anonymity of the authors. 7. JURY. The selection and awarding of the Contest prizes will be carried out at the proposal of a Jury appointed by the Local Government Board and will be constituted as follows: President. Delegate Councilor of the Tourism Area of ​​the Hon. Moraleja City Council. 4 Vowels. 3 Nature Photographers and the Tourism Technician of the Hon. Moraleja City Council. Secretary Secretary of the corporation or public employee to whom it is delegated (with voice but without vote) who will draw up minutes. 2.- The Jury will be constituted and met once it is made public through a resolution of the Local Government Board, which will declare the list of participants presented admitted, in order to issue its ruling. Firstly, it will check one by one all the works presented to verify effective compliance with the conditions established in these bases and, consequently, rule on their final admission. 3.- The Jury, to formulate its proposal for awarding the prize, will assess, in addition to the conception, its graphic or plastic quality, its advertising or informative effectiveness and its reproduction conditions. 4.- The Jury may declare the award void if it considers that none of the works presented have sufficient merit to be awarded. 5.- The decisions of the Jury will in any case be unappealable. The contestants, by the mere fact of participating in this contest, expressly renounce the exercise of all types of claims against the resolutions of the Jury. 6.- The Jury will submit to the competent municipal body the proposal for the prize to be awarded. 7.- The decision of the Jury will be made public, along with the names of the people who compose it, on the bulletin board of this City Council, without prejudice to the corresponding notification to the winners of the contest. 8.
