Official description of the call

First. - Beneficiaries. The awards are announced in three modalities: town halls, open shopping centers and small businesses. Second. - Object. The National Domestic Trade Awards were created by Order of the Ministry of Economy and Finance, dated July 16, 1997, in order to recognize the special work of city councils in their commercial urban renewal activities in city centers and of small businesses in their work of commercial development and business modernization, through the improvement of technology and the association of companies. Third. - Regulatory bases. The regulatory bases of the National Domestic Trade Awards are included in Order ICT/862/2018 of August 1, modified by order ICT/821/2020, of August 28. Room. - Endowment. The National Award for Small Business and the National Award for Open Shopping Centers are endowed with 25,000 euros each. The National Award for City Councils is honorary, without a financial award. In view of the candidatures presented, the Selection Body may agree to grant the national award to City Councils in two subcategories: city councils of towns of less than 25,000 inhabitants and town halls of towns of more than 25,000 inhabitants. The determination of the number of inhabitants will be carried out in accordance with the royal decree by which the population figures resulting from the registry review are declared official, which is in force on the date of presentation of the candidacy. Second prizes and mentions may be awarded in each of the modalities, which will be honorary. The prizes, second prizes and mentions, in each modality, will obtain an accrediting diploma. Fifth. - Presentation of candidatures. Candidates may be submitted directly by interested parties, or by business associations, corporations or public law entities. Candidates may submit their applications (the application will be formalized in the standardized form that appears as an annex to the call in the electronic office), together with the corresponding documentation, addressed to the General Directorate of Trade Policy, through the electronic office of the Secretariat of State for Commerce, through the address: https://serviciosede.mineco.gob.es/FB/HomeFB.aspx?control=313_SOL_PRENAC Application to which the documents will be attached electronically in the corresponding electronic format. However, the successful bidders must present authenticated copies or original documents, if required, in accordance with the provisions of article 28.4 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations. However, for those who do not have the obligation or the possibility of interacting through electronic means, the submission of applications will be made through the General Registry of the Ministry of Economy, Commerce and Business, Paseo de la Castellana nº 162, 28046 Madrid, or in any of the registries and offices provided for in article 16.4 of Law 39/2015, of October 1.
