Official description of the call
First. - Beneficiaries. Natural or legal persons who, complying with the conditions of the call, develop software, hardware or sensoring applicable to their business in retail commercial activity may have the status of beneficiaries. The contest has different categories: a) Ideas aimed at the modernization of commercial businesses with face-to-face sales, b) Ideas aimed at the modernization of businesses with online and offline sales, c) Ideas aimed at providing technological solutions to urban commercial areas, collective commercial establishments and/or municipal markets and d) Ideas aimed at providing technological solutions to rural commercial areas. Second. - Object. Promote talent and innovation when generating technological solutions in retail commerce so that said commercial activity is energized and modernized. Third. - Regulatory bases. The regulatory bases of the “VII Contest of Technological Ideas for Retail Trade” are included in Order ICT/267/2019 of February 28 and published in BOE No. 58 on March 8, 2019. Said order has been modified by Order ICT/841/2020, of August 28, by which the Order is modified ICT/267/2019, of February 28, which establishes the regulatory bases for the awards in the Technological Ideas Competition for Retail Trade. Room. - Endowment. The financial award for the prizes amounts to €34,000 to be distributed among the winning ideas, which will be a maximum of 4. In addition, the winners will be able to enjoy the following solutions from the portfolio of services of the Sociedad Pública de Correos y Telégrafos S.A. During the year following the selection of the project in the ideas contest: - The winners will be able to use the “Correos Labs” infrastructures in order to develop and implement their projects. - Winners will be able to use Correos' “Ecommerce Solutions” to sell online (“Create Online Store” or “Sell in Marketplaces”) with a 50% discount on the rates of the published annual plans (both Basic and Premium) and a 20% discount on the personalized design service. - Winners will be able to benefit from the use of Correos parcel solutions with promoted prices and discounts on published rates. sale of physical products, nor commitment to permanence, with access to advantageous parcel rates, receiving diffusion in the different communication channels of Correos. The winners will be able to choose the solution or solutions that best suit them from among the four mentioned. The period of enjoyment of said solutions will be one year from the date of the resolution awarding the prizes. Other ideas may also be the subject of honorary mention, without any financial award. Fifth. - Application submission deadline. The deadline for submitting applications will be one month from the day following the publication of this extract of the call in the “Official State Gazette”. Interested parties may submit their application for participation in digital format following the models attached to the call and sending them electronically to the following address: areaeconomica@femp.es.
