Official description of the call

First. Beneficiaries. Have Spanish nationality or be a national of a Member State of the Union or of third countries with legal residence in Spain. Be in possession of a graduate or bachelor's degree or equivalent qualifications issued by a higher education institution in the European Higher Education Area. The beneficiary does not comply with any of the prohibitions provided for in article 13 of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies. Not suffer from any illness or physical or mental limitation that makes it impossible for them to fulfill their obligations as a beneficiary of the scholarship. Likewise, applicants must be up to date with their tax and Social Security obligations. Applicants for this scholarship must demonstrate a final average grade equal to or greater than 1.8 (according to the base scale 0 to 4 that is chosen by this Center, according to the table established in Annex III, and which is attached to the Call Resolution). Those who, prior to this call, had been awarded another training scholarship for postgraduates at the Center for Sociological Research will not be able to apply for a scholarship. Second. Objective To call, on a competitive basis, and in accordance with the principles of objectivity and publicity, ten scholarships for postgraduates for training in methods and techniques used in applied social research. Third. Regulatory Bases. Order PCM/918/2020, of September 21, approving the regulatory bases for the granting by the Sociological Research Center of training scholarships for postgraduates in matters of interest to the Agency, BOE number 259 of September 30, 2020. Fourth. Amount. The amount of each scholarship, which will be identical, may not exceed the amount of thirteen thousand euros (€13,000.00) per year per scholarship recipient. Fifth. Application submission deadline. The deadline for submitting applications will be 15 business days, counting from the day following the publication of this extract of the call in the Official State Gazette. Sixth. Formalization of requests The request will be made by electronic means through the electronic headquarters of the Ministry of the Presidency, Justice and Relations with the Courts (https://mpr.sede.gob.es/) and all the mandatory documentation in electronic format will be attached to said request, in accordance with the provisions of article 14.3 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations. In accordance with what has been indicated, the entire processing of the procedure will be by electronic means. The application will be made by completing the model that appears as Annex I to the call for scholarships, attached to the Call Resolution.
