Official description of the call
First. Beneficiaries: Artists or groups over sixteen years of age, of any gender and nationality who can identify themselves with an accreditation document, may participate in this call. Second. Purpose: The purpose of this call is to award prizes on the occasion of the IV Biennial of Visual Arts PLURI-IDENTITATS, which aims to generate a space in which to show multidisciplinary artistic proposals that question, challenge, overcome and break down the limits in the construction of ethnic-cultural, emotional-sexual, functional identities, etc. Third. Regulatory bases: The regulatory bases and call are published jointly in the Official Gazette of the University of Alicante on November 11, 2024, at the following URL: https://www.boua.ua.es/Agreements/DescargarAtrabajo/54023 Cuarto. Amount: The amount of aid is a maximum of 2000 euros. A maximum number of three prizes will be awarded among the selected creations. - 1 prize: 1,000 euros - 2 second prizes: 500 euros each The jury will only award one prize per author, so the first prize and the second prizes must be of different authorship. Fifth. Application submission deadline: The call will be published in the BOUA for information purposes, prior to the publication of the extract in the DOGV. The deadline for submitting works begins the day after the publication of this call in the BOUA and ends at 11:59 p.m., on January 24, 2025. Sixth. Other information: Award criteria: The evaluation of the works presented will be carried out based on the following criteria: - Appropriateness to the theme: 40% - Creative innovation: 30% - Technical quality: 20% - Artist's career: 10%
