2024 aid to cover extraordinary expenses, subsequently justified, derived from the foster care of minors under the guardianship or custody of the Protection System of Extremadura, according to Decree 134/2024

Official description of the call

In accordance with the provisions of articles 17.3.b) and 20.8.a) of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies, the extract of the call is published, the full text of which can be consulted in the National Subsidies Database (http://www.infosubvenciones.gob.es) and in this Official Gazette of Extremadura (http://doe.juntaex.es). First. Object and purpose. The purpose of this extract is to establish the call, in accordance with the provisions of the sole additional provision of the Decree that establishes the regulatory bases for aid to defray extraordinary expenses derived from the exercise of foster care for minors under the guardianship or guardianship of the Protection System of the Autonomous Community of Extremadura and the first call. The first call, corresponding to the year 2024, is approved for aid to defray extraordinary expenses derived from the exercise of foster care for minors under the guardianship or guardianship of the Protection System of the Autonomous Community of Extremadura with the purpose of contributing to the coverage of specific needs of minors received under any form of foster care, promoting them the opportunity to grow in a safe, responsible and emotionally available environment for their needs. Second. Persons benefiting from aid. 1. Families fostering minors from the Protection System of the Autonomous Community of Extremadura may be beneficiaries of this aid in the terms provided for in art. 20 of Organic Law 1/1996, of January 15, on Legal Protection of Minors, and in accordance with the foster care modalities contemplated in article 173 bis of the Civil Code, provided that effective coexistence with them is maintained on the date of submission of the application. 2. Host families must designate one of the host natural persons as an interested person, for the purposes of submitting the application in the aid granting procedure, which must be reflected in Annex III of the Decree, to be submitted with the application. Third. Requirements for receiving aid. 1. The beneficiary foster families must, on the date of submission of the application, have formalized foster care for a minor from the Protection System of the Autonomous Community of Extremadura, with whom they effectively coexist on the date of the application. 2. In the event that the foster care has been formalized in another Autonomous Community and the foster parents move their residence to the Autonomous Community of Extremadura, aid may be requested once the Autonomous Administration is subrogated to the protective measure of the Autonomous Community of origin. Room. Regulatory bases. Decree 134/2024, of October 29, which establishes the regulatory bases for aid to defray extraordinary expenses derived from the exercise of foster care for minors under the guardianship or custody of the Protection System of the Autonomous Community of Extremadura and the first call. Fifth. Financing and amount. 1. The total amount of this call to cover extraordinary expenses derived from the exercise of foster care for minors under the guardianship or custody of the Protection System of the Autonomous Community of Extremadura is 300,000 euros, as set out in the Expenditure Annex of the Extremadura Budget Law project for 2024, in project 20240290 called "AIDS TO DEFRAGRATE EXTRAORDINARY EXPENDITURE INTENDED FOR SUPPORTING FAMILY CARE" in budget application 11003/252A/48000. 2. If the budget credit is exhausted and the corresponding credit modifications are not made or there are no new budget availability, the period of validity of the call will be declared ended by means of an announcement by the person in charge of the General Secretariat of the Ministry responsible for foster care, which will be published in the Official Gazette of Extremadura (http://doe.juntaex.es) and on the Subsidies Portal of the Autonomous Community of Extremadura (https://www.infosubvenciones.es/bdnstrans/A11/es/index), with the consequent inadmissibility of applications subsequently presented.
