Official description of the call
First. Beneficiaries: All students enrolled in the 2024-25 academic year in the Degree in Optics and Optometry at the University of Alicante may participate. The participating students will be organized into teams composed of a minimum of 3 people and a maximum of 5, to carry out the tests of the Optotrivial Contest. Each team must identify itself with a name. Second. Purpose: The purpose of this call is the granting, on a competitive basis, of prizes from the Optotrivial contest, on the occasion of its annual edition framed in the Santa Otilia events organized by the Faculty of Sciences. Third. Regulatory bases: The regulatory bases and call are published jointly in the Official Gazette of the University of Alicante on November 14, 2024, at the following URL: https://www.boua.ua.es/Agreements/DescargarAtrabajo/54161 Cuarto. Amount: The amount of aid is a maximum of 250 euros. A single prize of 250 euros will be awarded to the team with the highest score at the end of the tests. The allocation will be distributed among the team members proportionally. Fifth. Application submission deadline: The call will be published in the BOUA for information purposes, prior to the publication of the extract in the DOGV. The registration period will be from December 2 to 12, 2024. Sixth. Other information: Award criteria: The allocation of prizes will be carried out in strict order of scores in the tests. The winning team will be the one with the highest score. In the event of a tie, a tiebreaker round will be held between the teams involved. The evaluation commission reserves the right not to hold the contest, in the event that less than 3 participating groups register for it.
