Official description of the call
In accordance with the provisions of articles 17.3.b and 20.8 a) of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General of Subsidies, and in article 16.q of Law 6/2011, of March 23, of Subsidies of the Autonomous Community of Extremadura, the extract of the call is published, the full text of which can be consulted in the National Subsidies Database http://www.infosubvenciones.es) and in the Official Gazette of Extremadura. First. Object. Carry out the first call for subsidies to be granted to local entities with less than 20,000 inhabitants of the Autonomous Community of Extremadura, for the execution of technological solutions in the field of smart tourism and cultural heritage, smart mobility, quality of life and well-being, smart administration and citizen participation, energy efficiency, as well as, in the urban environment, environmental monitoring systems and circular economy, according to two lines of help: a) Aid to local entities that will include municipalities and associations. b) Aid to smaller local entities. Second. Beneficiary entities and requirements. The status of beneficiaries will be the local entities of the Autonomous Community of Extremadura that meet the requirements set forth in these regulatory bases in accordance with the following lines of aid: a) Aid intended for local entities, including municipalities and associations of the Autonomous Community of Extremadura, that have a population of less than 20,000 inhabitants. In the case of associations, the population will be obtained from the sum of the populations of the municipalities that comprise it. For the population data, the latest data published, on the date of publication of the call, by the National Institute of Statistics (hereinafter INE) will be taken into account. b) Aid intended for smaller local entities that, on the date of publication of the call, are legally constituted in accordance with the provisions of Law 17/2010, of December 22, on Associations and Minor Local Entities Third. Regulatory bases. This aid will be governed by the provisions of Decree 129/2024, of October 15, which establishes the regulatory bases for aid to be granted to local entities with less than 20,000 inhabitants of the Autonomous Community of Extremadura intended for the development of Smart Towns and approves the first Fourth call. Financing and amount. 1. The amount of the call amounts to ONE MILLION FIVE HUNDRED THOUSAND EUROS (€1,500,000), fund code FD211A1202, charged to the budget application 140070000G/332A/76000 expense code 20240439, called “AID FOR THE DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION OF “SMART” PROJECTS VILLAGE", with 85% co-financing, charged to the "Extremadura FEDER Program 2021-2027", The breakdown of the expenditure of the amount of the call calculated by annuities will be as follows: Local Entities Line: 1,300,000 euros. Minor Local Entities Line: 200,000 euros. 2. The credit assigned for each annuity and for each line will be as follows: - Annuity 2025: Local Entities Line: 650,000 euros. Minor Local Entities Line: 100,000 euros. - Annuity 2026: Local Entities Line: 650,000 euros. Minor Local Entities Line: 100,000 euros. 3. The subsidy amount per local entity will consist of a maximum percentage of 80% of the investment. eligible. This maximum subsidy will be obtained taking into account the following population sections, according to the latest data published by the INE on the date of publication of the call: a) Local entities with more than 6,000 and less than 20,000 inhabitants: 80% of the eligible investment, up to a maximum subsidy amount of €80,000. b) Local entities with more than 1,000 and up to 6,000. inhabitants: 80% of the eligible investment up to a maximum subsidy amount of €40,000. c) Local entities up to 1,000 inhabitants: 80% of the eligible investment up to a maximum subsidy amount of €20,000. Fifth. Deadline for submitting applications. The deadline for submitting applications will be one month from the day following the publication of the call, together with its extract, in the Official Gazette.
