Official description of the call
First. Beneficiaries Independent bookstores, whether natural or legal persons, included in section 4761 (Retail trade of books in specialized establishments) of the National Classification of Economic Activities (CNAE-2009) prior to the publication of Royal Decree-Law 7/2024, of November 11, that are owners of establishments open to the general public located in one of the municipalities, may be beneficiaries. listed in the Annex to Royal Decree-Law 6/2024, of November 5, and that prove material damage derived from DANA. Second. Purpose The aid will be used to cover the expenses derived from the emergency situation. Third. Regulatory bases The regulatory bases by which this aid is governed were established through Royal Decree-Law 7/2024, of November 11, published in the BOE number 273, dated November 12, 2024. Fourth. Amount The amount of the subsidy will be, at a maximum, 300,000.00 euros, charged to budget application 24.03.929D.471, “Aid for bookstores affected by DANA” of the expense budget of the Ministry of Culture for the year 2024. The maximum amount of each aid will be 30,000 euros. In the event that the total amount is not sufficient to meet all the requests that meet the aforementioned requirements, the instructing body will make a proportional proration to adapt the concession to the available credit. In such case, the calculation method used for said prorata will be reflected in the concession proposal. The maximum amount of each aid will be reduced if they have been beneficiaries of the direct aid line provided for in article 11 of Royal Decree-Law 6/2024, of November 5, by an amount equal to that received. Fifth. Application submission deadline The interested person or entity must submit their application within a maximum period of seven business days from the entry into force of this call resolution. Sixth. Other information These aids are compatible with other public or private, national or international aid or subsidies, granted for the same purpose, without in any case the sum of all the aid obtained exceeding the cost of the subsidized project.
