IRUN CITY COUNCIL Area of Open Government and Citizen Attention Extract from Resolution No. 1485 of November 26, 2024 of the Mayor's Office of the Irun City Council, which approves the Campaign "World Consumer Rights Day - March 15, 2025: Consume with a guarantee. Buy in Irun" Purpose On the occasion of the celebration on March 15, 2025 of the World Day of the Rights of the Consumer, the Irun City Council organizes the campaign "CONSUME WITH GUARANTEE. BUY IN IRUN", whose objective is to raise awareness about the importance of consumer rights while promoting local and proximity consumption as a responsible, conscious and sustainable practice. The campaign consists of carrying out a survey aimed at finding out consumers' opinions about their rights at the time of purchase. Additionally, among the people who complete the survey and get the answers correct, a prize draw will be held. Mode of participation The form of participation in this activity will consist of answering the survey that will be available in collaborating businesses. The contest is free to participate and is aimed at anyone as a customer of the collaborating businesses. You can participate in this campaign from February 1 to March 1, 2025, inclusive. Prizes The prizes for participants will consist of vouchers redeemable exclusively at collaborating establishments. - 10 purchase vouchers for an amount of 60 euros each. - 30 purchase vouchers for an amount of 30 euros each. These vouchers will be awarded by lottery among the people who have answered the questions posed correctly. In order to be awarded, the person must meet the following conditions: Be registered in Irun on February 1, 2025. Be 18 or older on February 1, 2025. The winners must also meet the conditions to acquire the status of beneficiary of a public subsidy, set out in art 13.2 of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies. Redemption of prizes Prizes in the form of vouchers can be redeemed at collaborating businesses between March 20, 2025 and May 20, 2025, both inclusive. When each awarded person wants to redeem a voucher, they must show their voucher at a collaborating commercial establishment. The commercial establishment will verify through the web application provided by the Irun City Council, prior to the purchase, if said voucher can be exchanged, being registered in said computer application. Collaborating businesses Those commercial establishments that have their headquarters and/or an establishment in Irun and whose main heading of the Economic Activities Tax rate belongs to one of the following may join: - Group 64. Retail trade of food, beverages and tobacco products carried out in permanent establishments. - Group 65. Retail trade of non-food industrial products carried out in permanent establishments. - Grouping 662: Mixed or integrated retail trade. The following are expressly excluded: - The activities of Group 647, retail trade of food and beverage products in general, when the establishments have a sales room larger than 400 square meters - The activities of Group 655, Retail trade of fuels, fuels and lubricants. - The activities of group 646, Retail trade of tobacco products and smoking articles. The application for membership by businesses will be presented at the Electronic Headquarters of the Irun City Council www.irun.org/sede. The deadline to submit adhesions will be from the day following the publication of this call in the BOG until January 20, 2025. The establishments participating in the campaign will be considered collaborating entities, so they must meet the requirements set out in art 13.2 of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies Financial allocation 1,500 euros charged to the budget application 1 0910.480.01.493.10 2025, OMIC current transfers and subsidies. The validity of the call, formulated in advance processing, is subject to the allocation of adequate and sufficient credit, at the request of the teaching area, in the budget for the year.
