Official description of the call
First. Object Educational innovation is understood to be the promotion of the center's actions to improve methodologies that facilitate the development of students, thus helping to build their own identity, integrating the affective and emotional dimension. The assessment will be carried out on a single innovation project per center. Eligible aspects: Adaptations and necessary teaching materials that justify a methodological change in the classroom or in a specific space in the center. Elements and support materials appropriate to innovative practice within the classroom (teaching resources). Elements and materials for learning corners. Support of language learning with experiential practice during school hours (native conversations, exchange projects with other countries, cultural actions in original version, etc.) Support in the emotional and affective work of children and young people with programs that develop the well-being and mental health of students (workshops, material resources, programs and actions, etc.) Promotion of the cultural dimension (music, theater, dance...) as an educational practice in the classroom or in a space at the center to contribute to the improvement of personal and social skills of the students. Development of activities related to the fight against school dropouts, absenteeism, the fight against segregation, racism and xenophobia. Others that the center considers suitable to carry out a project with its own identity. Only one project per school center will be subsidized. Second. Beneficiaries and applicant entities The recipients of this subsidy are the children and young people of Gavá, enrolled in an educational center financed with public funds, at educational levels from P3 to 4th of ESO. However, they will have to apply for the subsidies and the final beneficiaries of the subsidy will be the educational centers financed with public funds. The status of beneficiary cannot be acquired when any of the following circumstances occur: a) Incurrence of any of the prohibitions provided for in article 13 of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General of Subsidies b) If there is a resolution to refund any subsidy previously granted by the City Council of Gavá and the payment obligation has not been fulfilled in the terms resulting from it. c) Not being up to date with the Gavá City Council in the payment of obligations in the executive period for any other concept other than the reimbursement of subsidies. Third. Regulatory Bases The Regulatory Bases for the application and granting of subsidies for equal opportunities for children in the school environment are published in full in the Official Gazette of the Province of Barcelona dated January 20, 2022: http://bop.diba.cat/anunci/3177982 Fourth. Amount The Gavá City Council allocates the following amount to the call: Application: 12000/3273A/481010025 Description: Educational Innovation Scholarships Amount: €20,000 The maximum amount of the subsidy will be up to €2,700. The number of SEN students enrolled in the center will be taken into account. The assessment committee, based on the applications received, the SEN students enrolled in the center and the available budgetary credit, will make a subsidy proposal, taking into account the previous criteria. Fifth. Deadline for submitting applications Gavá City Council will award these subsidies through a competitive bidding procedure, which means that interested parties will have to submit the corresponding application, accompanied by the necessary documentation. The deadline for submitting applications will be from the day following its publication in the Official Gazette of the Province and until February 10, 2025.
