Rules of the XXXVI Photography Contest "Our towns on the horizon"

Official description of the call
First.-Beneficiaries. : Open to all people of legal age (except authors of the 1st and 2nd prize in the general category of the previous edition). Second.-Object. Disseminate the environmental and cultural wealth of the province of Palencia through photographic images on the theme "Our towns on the horizon." Third: Photograph format: Photographic images must be in jpg/jpeg format, with a minimum resolution of 3000 x 2000 pixels in RGB mode, a 3:2 or 4:3 proportion, and a maximum weight of 10 Mb per file and always in HORIZONTAL. The file name must be the same as the title of the work. Fourth: Submission of photos to the contest: Photos must be submitted through a form designed for this purpose and located on the Provincial Council website (https://www.diputaciondepalencia.es), where they must provide the following information: Title of the photo submitted to the contest. Place where it was carried out. Approximate date of completion. Digital files of the photos submitted to the contest. Name, surname, ID and year of birth. Contact telephone number. Email. Fifth.-Amount. The total credit assigned to the call is €3,640.00, distributed in the following prizes: First Prize €700 Second Prize €600 Third Prize €500 Fourth Prize €400 8 Second Prize 8 Baskets of products from the Palencia brand, valued at €150 each. With each award, a trophy representative of the competition will be awarded. The financial allocation of the prizes will be subject to the withholdings provided for in current legislation. Special prize for participation: Just for participating in the contest you will be eligible for one of the two baskets of products from the Foods of Palencia brand, each valued at 120.00 euros, which will be raffled among the attendees who have participated, and who are present at the Sixth event.-Deadline for submission of photographs: May 23, 2025 Seventh.-The annexes and other documentation corresponding to this call will be available to interested parties on the page website of the Provincial Council of Palencia https://www.diputaciondepalencia.es/servicios/becas-premios-concursos
