Official description of the call
In accordance with the provisions of articles 17.3.b and 20.8.a of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General of Subsidies, and in article 16.q) of Law 6/2011, of March 23, of Subsidies of the Autonomous Community of Extremadura, the extract of the call is published, the full text of which can be consulted in the National Subsidies Database http://www.infosubvenciones.gob.es) and in this Official Gazette of Extremadura. First. Recipients of aid. The beneficiaries will be groups without legal personality made up of at least one company and/or a private technology center and a public agent of the Extremadura System of Science, Technology and Innovation (hereinafter SECTI), which will also have the status of beneficiaries of the subsidy. Up to six companies and up to two SECTI public agents may participate in the group. The participation of a Large Company in a grouping will entail mandatory participation of at least one SME. Second. Object. 1. The purpose of the resolution is to approve the call, for the financial year 2024, of the aid provided for in Decree 146/2022, of December 7, which establishes the regulatory bases for aid intended for the financing of Industrial Research and Experimental Development Projects carried out in public-private collaboration by companies and public agents of the Extremadura System of Science, Technology and Innovation and approves the first call related to Projects in the thematic of Energy Storage, (DOE number, 248 of December 29). 2. Projects presented in all areas of R&D&I intervention for the smart specialization of Extremadura, detailed in Annex 1 of the Research and Innovation Strategy for the Smart Specialization of Extremadura 2021-2027, may participate in this call: 1) Agri-food • Smart and sustainable agri-food chain • Sustainability in the agri-food sector 2) Ecological Transition • Climate change • Energy production, storage and distribution • Sustainable ecosystems 3) Health and well-being • Personalized medicine adapted to the territory • Healthcare services adapted to the population's lifestyle • Health and food 4) Cultural and tourism industries • Cultural industries • Tourism 5) Digital Transformation: • ICTs with transversal application Third. Regulatory bases Decree 146/2022, of December 7, which establishes the regulatory bases for aid intended for the financing of industrial research and experimental development projects carried out in public-private collaboration by companies and public agents of the Extremadura System of Science, Technology and Innovation, and approves the first call for projects on the subject of energy storage (DOE number, 248 of December 29). Room. Amount of aid. 1. The determination of the amount of the subsidy is calculated by applying to the eligible investment the percentage of aid intensity that corresponds to the nature of each entity that is part of the beneficiary group. The eligible investment is the part of the projected investment that corresponds to the eligible costs (marginal costs with respect to SECTI public agents and real costs with respect to companies and technology centers). 2. The percentage of aid intensity corresponding to the SECTI public agent entities that are part of the group will be 100% of the marginal costs they assume with the execution of the project. The percentage of aid intensity that corresponds to the companies that are part of the group will be determined according to whether the project is classified as industrial research or experimental development and depending on the category of each participating company. The percentages are as follows: Industrial Research Projects: small business 70%, medium 60%, Large 50% Experimental Development Projects: small business 45%, medium 35%, Large 25% When the element of effective collaboration occurs in the execution of the project, the aid intensities will be as follows: Industrial Research Projects: small business 80%, medium 75%, Large 65% Experimental Development Projects: small business 60%, Medium 50%, Large 40% Fifth.
