Official description of the call
In accordance with the provisions of articles 17.3.b) and 20.8.a) of Law 38/2003, of November 17, general on subsidies, the extract of the call is published, the full text of which can be consulted in the National Subsidies Database (http://www.pap.minhap.gob.es/bdnstrans/index). First. Beneficiary entities 1. All local entities in Galicia that: a) Own public libraries or reading agencies integrated into the Public Library Network of Galicia may be beneficiaries of this subsidy. b) They are up to date with their compliance with tax and Social Security obligations and do not have any other debt pending payment with the public administration of the Autonomous Community, as established in article 10 of Law 9/2007, on Galician subsidies, and in article 11 of Decree 11/2009, which approves the Regulation of Law 9/2007, on Galician subsidies. c) Having sent the general account for the 2023 financial year to the Galician Accounts Council, in accordance with the provisions of article 4.1 of Decree 193/2011, of October 6, which regulates specialties in subsidies to Galician local entities. 2. The grouping of town councils for the provision of common library services may also be a beneficiary of this aid. The aforementioned group must be duly accredited and the town councils that are members of the group must individually comply with the requirements established in this order. City councils that appear as a group may not also appear individually. 3. Local entities that are in any of the cases provided for in sections 2 and 3 of article 10 of Law 9/2007, of June 13, on Galician subsidies may not be beneficiaries of this aid. Second. Object 1. This order aims to establish the regulatory bases for the procedure for granting subsidies aimed at public libraries and/or municipal reading agencies, integrated into the Public Library Network of Galicia (procedure code CT235A). 2. This order regulates the following two subsidy programs: Program A. Subsidies for the provision of editorial news in Galician in physical format. Program B. Subsidies for the improvement of bibliographic collections. 3. Likewise, it aims to call for these subsidies for the year 2025. Third. Regulatory bases Order of December 16, 2024, which establishes the regulatory bases for aid to local entities in Galicia that own public libraries and/or reading agencies, integrated into the Network of Public Libraries of Galicia, for the acquisition of new publishing in Galician and for the improvement of collections, and calls for applications for the year 2025 (procedure code CT235A). Room. Amount Program A. Subsidies for the provision of editorial news in Galician in physical format. 1. These aids will be granted under budget application 13.03.432A.760.2, of the general budgets of the Autonomous Community of Galicia for the year 2025, for an amount of 200,000.00 euros. Program B. Subsidies for the improvement of bibliographic collections. 2. This aid program will be granted under budget application 13.03.432A.760.1, of the general budgets of the Autonomous Community of Galicia for the year 2025, for an amount of 350,000.00 euros. 3. These initial amounts may be increased, depending on budgetary availability, which may lead to an increase in the total amount of subsidies, in accordance with the provisions of article 31.2 of Law 9/2007, of June 13, on Galician subsidies, without giving rise to the opening of a new application submission period. Fifth. Deadline for submitting applications Local entities that wish to benefit from the subsidies regulated in this order must submit the application indicating the program or programs in which they wish to participate, according to the Annex I model. The deadline for submitting applications will be from January 22, 2025 to February 21, 2025, both included. If the last day of the period is a non-business day, it will be deemed extended to the first following business day.
