Aid to finance the defense of Doctoral Theses 2025, within the annual Program of the University of Burgos

Official description of the call

Errors noted in the Extract of January 14, 2025, from the Rectorate of the University of Burgos, by which the Defense of Doctoral Theses is called, within the annual research program of the University of Burgos, published in the BOCyL no. Call for Grants for the Defense of Doctoral Theses, co-financed by Banco Santander S.A., year 2025. In the preamble of said call, reference is made to the financing “These grants will be charged to application 12TE-461AA-489.02 of the Budget of the University of Burgos, with an endowment of €20,000 from the budget of the University of Burgos for the financial year 2025”. Said text is replaced by the following: These aids will be financed from the budget application 30.CB.SI-461AA-489.02 Budget of the University of Burgos, with an endowment of €30,000 co-financed with the Collaboration Agreement between the University of Burgos and Banco Santander, S.A. for 2025. The remainder of this may be transferred Call for the II and III edition of Aid for the defense of Doctoral Theses that will be published in the next two quarters of the year 2025. In Base 4, point three, which refers to the deadline for submitting applications, it says: “The deadline for submission will be from the day after the publication of the extract of this call in the BOCYL until November 30, 2025 inclusive. Theses whose defense will take place during the month of December must submit the application on time, even if they do not have confirmation of the reading." Said text is replaced by the following: "The submission deadline will be from the day following the publication of the extract of this call in the BOCYL until April 30, 2025 inclusive." In Base 4, which refers to the "Formalization and deadline for submitting applications", a new point is included: "Register or register on the Scholarship platform of the Banco Santander, through the page https://app.becas-santander.com. This registration does not imply the submission of the application within the established period. Proof of having registered in said application will be sent when making the electronic application in the registry of the University of Burgos. A new point is included in Base 5: “The University of Burgos will pay the amount of the aid by bank transfer to the account opened in the name of the beneficiary, preferably in a Banco Santander office.” The rest of the rules of the call remain in force.
