Official description of the call
In accordance with the provisions of articles 17.3 b) and 20.8 a) of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies, the extract of the call is published, the full text of which can be consulted in the National Subsidies Database (http://www.infosubvenciones.es) and in this Official Gazette of Extremadura. First. Object. Aid aimed at city councils and associations of municipalities in the Autonomous Community of Extremadura that meet the requirements, to cover the salary costs of providing the service for three years, of a manager to boost retail trade, and approve the first call. The manager will be in charge of promoting and energizing the small retail business of the town, or towns within the community, in all areas and commercial spaces, including food markets. Second. Beneficiary entities. 1. The following may benefit from this aid: a) In the line of aid intended for town councils: Any town council in the Autonomous Community of Extremadura whose locality acts as a commercial and tourism attraction for a population of more than 5,000 inhabitants may be beneficiaries of this aid. b) In the line of aid intended for associations of municipalities: Associations of municipalities of the Autonomous Community of Extremadura may be beneficiaries provided that: • None of the municipalities that comprise it individually meet the requirements to access the aid. • In its constitution statutes, it must appear among its purposes that it assumes the powers of organization and management of internal trade, specifically, in relation to the organization and management of markets, supplies, fairs, markets, slaughterhouses and street commerce. In all cases, entities requesting aid will not be able to access them if, at the end of the deadline to submit the application for each call, they have hired a manager under subsidies granted by the Order of July 28, 2022 and its respective calls or those derived from this Decree. Third. Regulatory bases. Decree 167/2024, of December 26, which establishes the regulatory bases for aid for the hiring of managers for commercial revitalization and approves the first call. Room. Amount. The aid will be granted for the amount corresponding to the three years of provision of the service. The amount of the aid will be 75% of the eligible expenses, with the maximum amount of eligible expenses being 25,000 euros per year, so that the maximum aid limit per year of service provision will be 18,750 euros. The start of contracting would be scheduled for July 1, 2025, although it may be subject to extension. The subsidy would last until the third year of the contract, which would end on June 30, 2028, so the cost of the eligible actions will be allocated to the budgets of 2025, 2026, 2027 and 2028. Fifth. Application submission deadline. The deadline for submitting applications for participation will begin on the day following the publication of the call and its corresponding extract in the Official Gazette of Extremadura, and will be ten business days. The application and necessary documentation will be submitted through the Associated Electronic Office through access through the General Electronic Access Point at the following electronic address: https://www.juntaex.es/w/0635322. Sixth. Financing The cost of the planned actions will be allocated to the budget items contained in Program 341A “Quality Commerce and Extremadura Crafts”, charged to budget application 14003341A460.00, Expenditure project 20170247 called “Aid for hiring commercial agents”, financed with funds from the Autonomous Community. The total amount of the call amounts to 900,000 euros. The amount of the call corresponding to each aid line and its budget allocation is as follows: a) The call for the line intended for town councils has a total amount of 618,750 euros, with 103,125 euros charged to the 2025 budget, 103,125 euros charged to the 2026 budget, 206,250 euros charged to the 2027 budget and 206,250 euros charged to the 2028 budget. b) The call for the line intended
