Official description of the call
Extract from the Resolution of December 30, 2024, of the Ministry of Culture, Language Policy and Sports, by which public subsidies 2025 are announced in advance, under a competitive competition regime, aimed at professionals and companies for the execution of cultural projects and training and mobility actions. First.-Beneficiaries: Any natural person or legal entity that has the status of a company or professional with tax domicile in the Principality of Asturias and that mainly develops its activity in this Autonomous Community may apply for these subsidies. Second.-Purpose: The purpose of this call is to grant, under a competitive competition regime, financial aid to companies and self-employed workers, who have, for at least the six months immediately prior to the call, their tax domicile in the Principality of Asturias and who continuously promote artistic and cultural activities or actions in the terms set out in the specific lines of subsidies for each of the modalities. Artistic and cultural activities are understood to be shows, exhibitions and activities included in the following sectors: music, poetry, literature, performing arts, plastic arts and video games, as well as the expenses derived from the execution and dissemination of said activities. These cultural activities or projects include creation, musical and video game production and production actions, training and mobility in order to support the implementation of tours of performing, literary and musical arts shows, courses and training activities linked to different artistic manifestations, as well as dissemination activities of plastic and audiovisual arts through exhibition projects and attendance at fairs, festivals and events for the dissemination, promotion or marketing of any of the cultural manifestations and artistic works carried out by cultural companies outside the scope of the Principality of Asturias. Training activities will be understood as attendance at seminars, professional meetings or short courses, in person or online. Lines: Line 1. Aid to the performing arts sector. Line 2. Aid to the book sector. Line 3. Aid to the music sector. Line 4. Aid to the audiovisual and cinema sector. Line 5. Aid to the visual arts sector. Line 6. Aid to the video game sector. Line 7. Aid for the training and professionalization of the Asturian cultural sector. The projects submitted to the call for grants may be projects already carried out or to be developed. Projects that may be included in any of the other lines of subsidies managed in the budgetary programs of the Department responsible for culture are expressly excluded. The eligible projects will be those carried out, in addition to those developed until October 31, 2025, those carried out in the months of November and December of the immediately preceding financial year. Third.-Regulatory bases: Resolution of June 29, 2022, of the then Ministry of Culture, Language Policy and Tourism, which approves the regulatory bases for subsidies under a competitive competition regime, aimed at professionals and companies for the execution of cultural projects and training and mobility actions. Fourth.-Amount: Total for the seven lines: 1,186,000 euros The amount of each subsidy line will be expressed below: Line 1.- 166,000 euros Line 2.- 110,000 euros Line 3.- 200,000 euros Line 4.- 450,000 euros Line 5.- 130,000 euros Line 6.- 90,000 euros Line 7.- 40,000 euros In the case of subsidies destined for the different lines of aid, the amount of the subsidy to be granted by each beneficiary will be the one resulting from the technical assessment obtained. The amount to be awarded as a subsidy will be the amount resulting (rule of 3) from projecting the technical assessment awarded to the project on the maximum expected score and taking into account that the maximum 100 points that can be obtained will be assigned the maximum subsidy of FIFTEEN THOUSAND EUROS (€15,000), with the exception of the typology of actions provided for in line 4 intended for film production projects, in which case the
