Official description of the call
First. Beneficiaries This award is aimed at students enrolled in secondary education centers in the Alt Empordà region in the second cycle of ESO (third and fourth). Second. Object. The purpose of the call is to regulate the granting of the Maria Rosa Ymbert March 8 Prize, which aims to raise awareness among second-cycle ESO students (third and fourth years of secondary education) in the Alt Empordà region about gender inequalities. Third. Regulatory bases The call is made in accordance with the bases approved by the Plenary Session on December 1, 2016 and published in BOP number 7, on January 11, 2017. Quart. Amount. The prizes object of this call are financed from the budget application 2024 209 231407 8000 PRIZES MARCH 8 (AGO) for the year 2024 and the total amount of three thousand three hundred forty-nine and ninety-eight cents (€3,349.98 VAT included) is allocated. Fifth. Application submission deadline. From February 10 to 17, 2025. Sixth. Other data. The Figueres City Council will award up to three prizes for each category. The first prizes will consist of an NFG 15.6" GAMING LAPTOP JP G12 17-12650 H 16 GB 512 GB NME RTX3050, valued at €974.99 each (excluding VAT); the second prizes will be a SAMSUNG GALAXI S6 LITE TABBLET, valued at €299.99 each (excluding VAT); and the third prizes will be a HEADSET AND SPORT HEADPHONES SET, valued at €109.31 each (without VAT). The jury may consider one or some of the prizes void and may also award second prizes if it considers that any work is worthy of being highlighted. The Figueres City Council reserves the right to publish and use all or part of the works presented, whether they have been awarded or not. After three months and from the jury's decision, which will be announced in. within the framework of the institutional event of International Women's Day, the non-awarded works will be available to their authors. The tax charges involved in accepting this Award are the responsibility of the person/s who have won it. Participants must present a work that addresses the issue of gender inequalities between men and women. Two categories are established: -PLASTIC CATEGORY: drawing, painting, collage or photo. -LITERARY CATEGORY: short story of 180 words maximum. Catalan or Spanish, presented in Arial size 12 and double spaced. Documents and information that must accompany the application The works to qualify for this Award must be submitted accompanied by a municipal registry application, to the Municipal Citizen Service Office (OMAC), located at Avenida Salvador Dalí, 107, in Figueres or in any of the places provided for in article 16.4 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, 2015. If a place other than the municipal registry is used, you will have to inform about participation in the Prize by email to the address siad@figueres.org.
