Official description of the call
First: Recipients The following may apply for aid to citizens: 1) Individuals subject to tax, holders of the IBI receipt, who have, together with the people who live together, an income level lower than that referenced with the IPREM, as long as it is their habitual residence. For the purposes of proving cohabitation with the beneficiary, people who are registered with the beneficiary at the habitual residence on January 1 of each year will be considered. 2) Natural persons who, not being holders of the tax receipt, meet the requirements of being co-owner of the home and being divorced/legally separated with a final court ruling, which must be proven in the file, as long as it is their habitual residence and they meet the rest of the requirements. 3) Those individuals who are tenants of homes who are covered by the rental regime with the Andalusian Housing and Land Rehabilitation Agency (A.V.R.A.) may also apply for aid, as long as it is their habitual residence and they meet the rest of the requirements. The habitual domicile for the purposes of granting the aid will be understood to be the one in which the beneficiary of said aid is registered on January 1 of the current year, and this circumstance must be maintained until the date of recognition of the obligation. Second: Object The aid to citizens for the year 2025 is being called, which aims to contribute to the support of a group of people with respect to whom circumstances exist that make them particularly vulnerable, understanding that any non-payment is detrimental to the municipality's own interests. Third: Regulatory Bases The full text can be consulted on the transparency page of the Torremolinos City Council: https://transparencia.torremolinos.es/subvenciones-y-ayudas-publicas/ Fourth: Amount of the aid The amount of the aid will be determined taking as a reference the net amount of the Real Estate Tax of the habitual residence corresponding to the year in which the call is published, and applying the corresponding percentage, according to the income level in the table that appears in the specific Rules and call, up to a maximum amount of 412 euros. The applicant, together with the group of people registered with him, must have had in the previous year a level of income equal to or lower than those shown in said table in order to apply the percentage thereof, always up to the maximum amount. Fifth: Deadline for submitting applications A) People who have requested aid in previous years. If aid has already been requested in previous years, it will not be necessary to submit a new application in 2025, since the City Council will proceed to recalculate it. However, any change in the circumstances of the applicant or the family unit, such as a change of document (NIE to DNI), change of address or death of the applicant, must be communicated to this City Council within the period established in the call for the submission of applications. B) New applicants. The deadline for submitting new applications for aid to citizens will be from February 3 to March 3, 2025, both inclusive. The aid application must be submitted using the standardized application model approved by the Torremolinos City Council. These standardized forms may be submitted either in person at the municipal registry, or through the electronic office, with a digital certificate, through the platform enabled for this purpose at the following link: (http://torremolinos.sedelectronica.es) The deadline for submitting the standardized application form in person will be 1:30 p.m. on March 3, 2025. For its part, the deadline for submitting the standardized application form through the electronic office will be 24:00 hours on March 3, 2025. Only applications submitted in the standardized application form will be processed, and applications submitted via email/fax or regular or certified mail will not be accepted. Submission of the application implies acceptance of the regulatory bases of this aid.
