Official description of the call
First. PurposeThese bases are intended to structure and establish the criteria and procedures for the granting of aid by the Sa Pobla City Council on a competitive basis and following the principles of objectivity and publicity, under the conditions established in the following articles. The purpose of these aids is to contribute to defraying expenses to encourage the completion of higher studies (university degree studies, university master's degrees and higher level vocational training cycles) among the citizens of the municipality of sa Pobla. For the purposes informative, indicate that:4.6.1.-. Regarding university studies, it is noted that these will be incompatible with the aid granted for travel by the Department of European Funds, University and Culture. But not when the aid is for the purchase of material. To this end, the City Council of Sa Pobla will send annually to the General Directorate responsible for universities, the list of aid granted to students of university studies, including the name, surname, sex, NIF, studies and amount of the aid granted. It is noted that the calls published by the Ministry provide that in the event that the General Directorate responsible for universities is aware that the applicant has obtained a scholarship from the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports or an aid or scholarship from another administration or from a public or private entity, and that this situation has not been declared, the file for reimbursement of the aid provided for in this Resolution will begin. In accordance with the above, the applicant will lose the right to obtain travel aid in the calls for the two subsequent academic years, after processing the corresponding sanctioning file.4.6.2.-. Regarding higher artistic studies studied in Mallorca, it is understood that there are no duplications with the calls carried out by the General Directorate of Vocational Training and Higher Artistic Education; although these may exist if the studies are carried out outside the Island. Second. BeneficiariesPeople who, at the time of submitting the application, meet the following requirements can apply for the aid that is the subject of this call and bases. 4.1 Have Spanish nationality or nationality from an EU member state. Non-EU foreigners will have to be residents in Spain.4.2 Be registered in the municipality of sa Pobla prior to the publication of the call.4.3 Be enrolled in higher-level vocational training studies, undergraduate university studies, master's degree university studies or equivalent, which are taught in the face-to-face, distance or mixed modality in the 2024-2025 academic year. In the case of undergraduate university studies and master's degrees, you must be enrolled in a minimum of 30 credits throughout the course, except in the case that the number of credits pending to obtain the degree is less than 30 (including the credits of the final degree project). Social.4.6 Not be a recipient of any other public aid for the same purpose, or, if they have received it, that the amount of both does not exceed the applicant's expense to carry out the activity. Deadline for submitting applicationsThe period for submitting applications is 20 calendar days from the day following the publication of this call in the BOIB. If the last day of this period is a Saturday, Sunday or holiday, it will be deemed extended until the first following business day. No subsidy application form may be submitted outside the established deadline.
