Official description of the call
First. Beneficiaries. The local entities that organize fairs, competitions and exhibitions of select cattle, and other animal species regulated in article 3, of Order MED/38/2017, of September 6, on fairs, competitions and exhibitions of select cattle, and other animal species, will have the status of beneficiary of this aid. Second. Object. Call for the year 2025, on a competitive basis, aid for the holding by Local Entities of fairs, competitions and exhibitions of select cattle, and other animal species held in Cantabria. Third. Regulatory bases. Order MED/10/2016, of February 24, published in BOC No. 46, dated March 8, 2016, and Order MED/14/2018, of February 26, which modifies Order MED/10/2016, of February 24, which establishes the regulatory bases for aid for the holding of fairs, competitions and exhibitions of select livestock bovine, and other animal species, published in BOC No. 50 dated March 12, 2018. Fourth. Amount. The maximum total amount of the aid that is called amounts to 105,000 euros for the year 2025, which will be financed from budget item 05.04.412B.461 of the General Budgets of the Autonomous Community of Cantabria for 2025. Taking into account that this is an open call resolved in three different selective processes, the financing of said processes will be following: a) First process (applications submitted until April 30): 40,000 euros b) Second process (applications submitted between May 1 and July 31): 45,000 euros c) Third process (applications submitted between August 1 and October 31): 20,000 euros When at the end of a period the corresponding subsidies have been granted and the maximum amount has not been exhausted to be granted, the amount not applied may be transferred to subsequent resolutions that may be issued. To do this, the granting body must expressly agree on the amounts to be transferred and the period in which they will be applied. The use of this possibility may not in any case imply impairment of the rights of the applicants of the period of origin. Fifth. Application submission deadline. 1. The applications will be formalized in the application model that is included in Annex I of this Resolution, they will be addressed to the General Directorate of Livestock of the Ministry of Rural Development, Livestock, Fisheries and Food and will be presented within the following deadlines; a) For livestock events held from October 1, 2024 until the day of publication of the extract of this call, which were not attended to under the previous call, the deadline for submitting applications will be one month from the day following the publication of the aforementioned extract. b) For livestock events held from the day following the publication of the extract of this call, the deadline for submitting applications will be one month from the day following the celebration of the livestock event. 2. Applications will be submitted to the Registry of the Ministry of Rural Development, Livestock, Fisheries and Food (C/ Albert Einstein, 2 PCTCAN, C.P. 39011 Santander), or in any other registry or place provided for in article 134.8 of the Law of Cantabria 5/2018, of November 22, on the Legal Regime of the Government, the Administration and the Public Sector. Institutional of the Autonomous Community of Cantabria, except for those subjects who are obliged to interact with the administration through electronic means, in accordance with the provisions of article 135.2 of the aforementioned Law. 3. The presentation of the aid application will imply the acceptance of the obligations and requirements established in its regulatory bases. Likewise, it entails authorization for the granting body to obtain certificates proving that it is up to date with compliance with tax obligations with the State and Regional Public Treasury and with Social Security. The applicant may expressly deny consent, and in this case must provide the corresponding supporting certificates.
