Of January 30, 2025, which establishes the regulatory bases for the granting, under a non-competitive competition regime, of subsidies to promote innovation and sustainability of local and artisanal commerce

Official description of the call

In accordance with the provisions of articles 17.3.b) and 20.8.a) of Law 38/2003, of November 17, general on subsidies, the extract of the call is published, the full text of which can be consulted in the National Subsidies Database (http://www.pap.minhap.gob.es/bdnstrans/index). First. Beneficiaries They may be beneficiaries of the subsidies, without prejudice to meeting the other requirements established in these bases and provided that the applicants do not meet any of the circumstances provided for in article 10 of Law 9/2007, of June 13, on subsidies of Galicia, natural or legal persons, communities of property or any other type of economic unit or separate assets without legal personality, legally constituted that, in any case, also meet the following requirements: 1. Retail merchants: a) That they carry out their commercial activity in Galicia, that their registered office is located in the autonomous community and that they meet the legally established requirements to carry out the activity. b) That, having the status of SME in accordance with the provisions of Commission Regulation (EU) No. 651/2014, of June 17, 2014, which declares certain categories of aid compatible with the internal market in application of articles 107 and 108 of the Treaty (OJEU 187, of June 26), have a number of employed persons equal to or less than twenty (20), including persons in self-employment situation. For the consideration of SMEs, the provisions of Commission Recommendation 2003/361/EC, of May 6, 2003, on the definition of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (OJEU No. L 124/36, of May 20, 2003), will be followed, establishing for these purposes that: Company category Personnel: annual work units Annual business volume (€) Annual balance sheet (€) Micro <10 = 2 million = 2 million Small <50 = 10 million = 10 million c) That they are registered in some of the IAE headings listed in Annexes II and III, and that this constitutes the activity to which the subsidy is directed. In the event that the eligible activity corresponds to an activity of the headings listed in Annex III, you must be registered in a commercial activity related to Annex II. In the event that eligible commercial activities are carried out in the same commercial establishment with other non-eligible commercial activities or services, the applicant must reliably prove that the main activity is included in the headings of the IAE that are listed in Annexes II and III. In any case, the main activity of the establishment must be carried out in a noticeable and unequivocal manner. d) That carry out the commercial activity in a commercial establishment with an exhibition and sales area equal to or less than 300 square meters, except that the commercial activity falls under section 653.1 of the IAE. 2. Craft workshops: That are registered in the General Registry of Crafts of Galicia. In the case of new workshops, they may request registration in said registry until the last day of the deadline established for the submission of applications. Second. Purpose 1. The subsidies regulated by these bases are intended to grant subsidies to promote innovation and sustainability of local and artisanal commerce. Third. Regulatory bases They are published jointly in the call. Room. Amount For the granting of these subsidies, a credit of €3,900,000.00 will be allocated from the general budgets of the Autonomous Community of Galicia for the year 2025, which will be allocated as follows: Budget application Project code Amount 14.06.751A.770.1 2015 00254 €2,900,000.00 14.06.751A.770.1 2024 00033 €1,000,000.00 This amount may be increased based on the applications submitted and in accordance with the availability of credit when the increase is derived from a generation, expansion or incorporation of credit, the existence of remainders from other calls financed with the same credit or credits included in the same program or in programs of the same service. Fifth. Deadline for submitting applications One month from February 26, 2025.
