Beneficiaries Private, non-profit legal entities may be beneficiaries. The requirements for the application and the way to accredit them are included in base 4. Second. Purpose The purpose of the subsidy is to finance projects/activities, carried out in the province of Barcelona, that have as their objective: activities or projects of recovery, recognition, reparation, dignity, research, debate, reflection and dissemination on facts, groups, people and spaces, related to the Second Republic, the Civil War, the repression of the Dictatorship, exile and the anti-Franco struggle. Third. Regulatory bases General Subsidies Ordinance of the Barcelona Provincial Council (BOP of the Province of Barcelona of May 9, 2017). Room. Amount The amount to be awarded to each of the subsidized projects/activities will be determined in relation to the points assigned in the evaluation obtained. The planned credit will be €100,000, and will be covered by the budget application G/10500/91200/48913 of the 2025 budget. All admitted projects will be granted the same amount for each point obtained. The amount per point assigned will be determined based on the sum of points obtained by all accepted applications. The total existing budget allocation will be divided by the sum of points. If there is still appropriation, the appropriate operations will be carried out until the maximum approximation to exhausting the established budget appropriation. The amount and percentage of the subsidies awarded will not exceed, in any case, 80% of the budget and total cost of the subsidized project or activity. Fifth. Deadline for submitting applications The deadline for submitting applications for grants will begin on February 19 and end on March 14, 2025. Sixth. other information The subsidies granted under the 2025 call must be used to finance activities related to the recovery of the Democratic Memory, within the period from January 1 to December 31, 2025. Entities that have completed the subsidized activity before June 30, 2025, and that therefore can present the total cost of the same, may present the final justification of the activity between September 5 and November 28, 2025. Entities that have not justified in this first period or complete the subsidized activity before December 31, 2025, must present the final justification of the activity between January 9, 2026 and March 31, 2026. These subsidies must promote projects/activities of public or social or humanitarian interest, and will have the purpose of recovering the Report "Democratic Memory, the promotion of cohesion and coexistence of civil society and the collaboration of associations with local entities in the Barcelona district, in matters of Democratic Memory."
