Official description of the call
First. Purpose and eligible activities The purpose of the call is to define the set of conditions and the procedure to follow for the application, processing, granting, justification and payment of the subsidies granted by the Gavà City Council, for the development of activities of local public interest. Line 4. Citizen Relations. These subsidies will have to promote activities of public or social interest in Gavà, which are carried out throughout the period indicated in the call and whose purpose is to promote the following actions: Projects and activities that promote the creation, dissemination and artistic production in its various disciplines. Cultural initiatives that promote social cohesion and collaborative and community work. Cultural initiatives that promote participation. Initiatives that promote and encourage reading and literary creation. Projects and activities that consider the gender perspective and equality measures. Promotion of Popular and Traditional Culture. Projects and activities that incorporate the intercultural perspective. Projects and activities that incorporate the eco-social perspective and responsible and sustainable consumption. Promotion of local cultural heritage. Cultural initiatives with a training, innovation and unique nature. Those projects that are nominatively established in the budget of the Gavà City Council are excluded from these bases. The granting of these subsidies is compatible with the granting of subsidies for the same purpose, promoted by other entities, both public and private. Even so, the amount of aid received for the same purpose may not exceed the total cost of the activity or project to be developed. They will also be compatible with municipal subsidies awarded for other projects. They will not be compatible with other aid from Gavà City Council for the same object to be subsidized. Second. The beneficiary entities Non-profit entities and associations may be beneficiaries of the subsidies referred to in these bases, the purpose of which, and the activities they carry out to achieve them, as regulated in their statutes, are related to the field of Culture, which are duly registered in the Municipal Registry of Associations of Gavà, hereinafter Register of Associations, or which at the time of formalizing the application have requested their registration. Third. The conditions and requirements To obtain the status of beneficiary entity of the subsidies referred to in these bases, the entities will have to meet the following conditions and requirements: That the activities be carried out in the municipal area of Gavà, or outside of it in the event that it is considered of interest for the external projection of the city. Those activities that incorporate an aspect of education in leisure and that have to be carried out outside the municipality would also be included. That the activities and/or services complement or replace the municipal competence in these matters, therefore, activities that are part of the catalog of activities, programs and projects specifically developed by one of the Departments of the Gavà City Council will not be eligible. That the activities are always non-profit, or that, if profits are obtained, they are reverted to the activity itself and declared as income when the report of the activity is presented. In no case may the amount of the benefits obtained plus the subsidy awarded be higher than the cost of the activity. On the other hand, the requirements applicable to the beneficiary entities, and which must be duly accredited, are the following: Have a registered office or delegation in the municipality of Gavà. Have objectives and purposes that coincide with those established by the bases. Have correctly justified the subsidies previously granted by the Gavà City Council. Not be disqualified from contracting with Public Administrations or obtaining subsidies from them. Be up to date in compliance with tax obligations with the City Council, the State Tax Administration Agency and Social Security. These facts will have to be justified by certificates proving the non-existence of tax and social security debts.
