IDENTIFICATION, GENERAL DATA MANAGEMENT BODY: ALBACETE CITY COUNCIL, SOCIAL ACTION SERVICE (SOCIAL ACTION SERVICE) DESCRIPTION OF THE CALL: TITLE: Call for subsidies from the Social Rental Fund (Social Rate) in the City of Albacete and its districts for the year 2025. OBJECT: Financial aid for individuals and families of the city of Albacete and its districts that are in a vulnerable situation in order to prevent situations of risk and/or social exclusion in situations of economic precariousness. The purpose of this aid is to address situations of social vulnerability, of people and families with economic difficulties that allow them to remain in their habitual residence and avoid residential exclusion. For this purpose, a Social Rental Fund is created to guarantee that the contribution of these people and families, in terms of rent, does not exceed 30% of their monthly income, with the difference being contributed from this call up to 100% of the monthly rental amount. BENEFICIARIES: Individuals and families from the city of Albacete and its districts who, meeting the requirements of the Third Base of the General Regulatory Bases, are in a situation of economic vulnerability may be beneficiaries of this aid. Beneficiaries may be natural persons who are holders of the rental contract, public or private, who meet the requirements established in these bases, and who reside in the municipality of Albacete and its districts. Lease contracts through non-profit entities or foundations will not be the subject of this call, as a resource intended to cover the housing needs of certain groups. AMOUNT: Amount of the call €300,000.00. Financial aid to contribute to the payment of rent of up to 6 monthly payments, corresponding to the year of the call. The amount of the aid will be the difference between 30% of the monthly income of the cohabiting family unit and the monthly amount of the rent, multiplied by a period of up to six months maximum. In the case of young people (not over 35 years old), the amount of aid will be the difference between 20% of the monthly income of the cohabiting family unit and the monthly rental amount, multiplied by a period of up to six months maximum. REGULATORY BASIS: Rules of the Call and other applicable regulations published in BOP No. 52 dated 04-05-22. APPLICATION PERIOD: The deadline for submitting applications will be 20 calendar days from the day following the publication of this call in the BOP.
