Official description of the call
1. IDENTIFICATION, GENERAL DATA 1.1 MANAGING BODY: ALBACETE CITY COUNCIL, CULTURE, FESTIVITIES AND EDUCATION SERVICE 1.2 DESCRIPTION OF THE CALL: TITLE: PLASTIC ARTS AWARD ALBACETE CITY COUNCIL 2025. OBJECT: Promote and encourage the creation of the plastic arts and the acquisition of artistic works that will become part of the municipal heritage. BENEFICIARIES: All artists born and/or residing in Albacete and its province who wish to participate may participate. Both the theme and the technique will be free. Each participant may present only one work signed by the author himself. Transportation costs as well as insurance will be the responsibility of the participant. AMOUNT: First prize: endowed with €6,000.- which may be declared void. Plus €3,000 for other prizes for purchasing work. 1.3 PDF DOCUMENT: Sending the Call document in an attached file. 2. REGULATORY BASIS: Bases of the Call and other regulations that apply. 3. PERIOD OF PRESENTATION OF ARTISTIC WORKS: The reception of works will be open from June 2 to 27, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., except Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, and must be addressed or delivered to the following address: Premio de Artes Plásticas “Ayuntamiento de Albacete”. Museo Municipal Plaza del Altozano, s/n 02001 ALBACETE Prior to the delivery of the work on the indicated dates and address, the application form will be completed, which is accompanied by the following bases, as Annex I. Once completed, you must submit it via email museomunicipal@ayto-albacete.es, attaching: Image of the proposed work in jpg or tiff format Photocopy of your DNI/Passport. Brief updated Curriculum 4. PAYMENT OF PRIZES: The awards ceremony, with the attendance of the winners, will be held coinciding with the opening ceremony of the exhibition of the works selected by the jury appointed for this purpose, at the Municipal Museum of Albacete.
