Beneficiaries Private non-profit legal entities domiciled in Catalonia may be beneficiaries. The requirements for the application and the way to accredit them are included in base 4. Second. Purpose The purpose of the subsidy is to finance projects/activities that promote general interest, which have as their objective: - Commemorations of events from 10 years and multiples of 5, all of them with local impact in the province of Barcelona. - Commemorations of events of 25, 50, 75, 100 years, etc., that is, multiple commemorations of 25 years, all of them with local impact in the province of Barcelona. - Events and personalities that are the subject of commemoration approved by the Generalitat of Catalonia for the year 2025. - Activities related to the organization of conferences, symposiums, conferences, summits, all of them international in scope and with local impact in the province of Barcelona. - Exceptional and/or singular activities related to transversal subjects of local impact in the province of Barcelona. Third. Regulatory bases General subsidy ordinance of the Barcelona Provincial Council (BOP of the Province of Barcelona of May 9, 2017). Room. Amount The amount to be awarded to each of the subsidized projects/activities will be determined in relation to the points assigned in the evaluation obtained. The planned credit will be €500,000, and will be covered by the budget application G/10500/23101/48903 of the 2025 budget. All admitted projects will be granted the same amount for each point obtained. The amount per point assigned will be determined based on the sum of points obtained by all accepted applications. The total existing budget allocation will be divided by the sum of points. If there is still appropriation left, the appropriate operations will be carried out until the maximum approximation to exhausting the established budget appropriation. The amount of the subsidy will be a maximum of 50% of the total budget of the project presented, and in no case may it be higher than that requested. Fifth. Deadline for submitting applications The deadline for submitting applications for subsidies will be between March 5 and April 4, 2025. Sixth. Other information The subsidies granted under the 2025 call must be used to finance activities related to commemorations of events, for commemorations approved by the Generalitat of Catalonia for the year 2025, and for exceptional and/or unique activities of local impact, all of them carried out within the period from January 1 to December 31, 2025. The justification for the subsidy will be presented once the activity is completed, at which time the final cost can be determined. A voluntary justification period will be opened for those entities that have completed the activities before July 1, 2025 and that, therefore, can determine, at this time, the total cost of the activity. This period will be between September 5 and November 28, 2025. Entities that have not justified in this first period or complete the subsidized activity on December 31, 2025, must present the final justification of the activity between January 9 and March 31, 2026. These subsidies must promote projects/activities of public or social interest that have the purpose of: - Promoting cohesion and coexistence of civil society. - Strengthen the support and assistance of the activities of the municipalities of the province of Barcelona.
