Official description of the call
EXTRACT from the Order of February 25, 2025, which establishes the regulatory bases for the granting of subsidies for the participation of professionals of Galician literary creation in literary residencies outside Galicia, and calls for applications for the year 2025 (procedure code CT215D). In accordance with the provisions of articles 17.3.b) and 20.8.a) of Law 38/2003, of November 17, general on subsidies, the extract of the call is published, the full text of which can be consulted in the National Subsidies Database (http://www.pap.minhap.gob.es/bdnstrans/index). First. Beneficiaries 1. Those natural persons referred to in article 1 of this order may be beneficiaries of the subsidies established in this order: Natural persons, who intervene in the process of creating the book in the corresponding tasks of writing, translation, graphic design and illustration of the book who accredit this condition and carry out their work within the scope of the Galician Autonomous Community. 2. Applicants must be up to date with their tax and Social Security obligations and not have any other debt pending payment with the Public Administration of the Autonomous Community of Galicia. Second. Object 1. This call aims to establish the regulatory bases for the procedure for granting subsidies for stays in literary residencies, which take place outside of Galicia, aimed at professionals of Galician literary creation to promote the dissemination of Galician culture and the promotion of cooperative relations with other organizations and cultural centers of reference. The purpose of the stays will be for the creators to carry out the translation of their works, for their stay to be necessary for the research process prior to the creation of the work that is the subject of the residency, or for those who require a space and work environment that allows them to continue with the development of a project already started. 2. For the purposes of this order, creative persons are considered to be those defined by article 5.1 of Law 17/2006, of December 27, on books and reading in Galicia: those who intervene in the book creation process in the corresponding tasks of writing, translation, graphic design and illustration of the book. 3. For the purposes of this order, the following are considered expenses: 3.1. Travel expenses: includes expenses associated with travel (round trip of the participating person to the place where the residency is held. 3.2. Internal transportation expenses: includes expenses generated by the use of means of transportation for travel in the locality or localities where the supported residence is held, including expenses generated by transfers to and from the airport or station of arrival or departure; or expenses for travel between localities if the participation of the creative person takes place in different locations; or expenses generated by the transfer to or from the location where the residency is held when the journey covered by the main ticket, included in the travel expenses, does not cover the entire trip. 3.3. Accommodation and subsistence expenses: corresponds to the expenses incurred during the participant's stay at the location of the residency. subsidized creative persons. 3.5 Expenses for subscribing to a medical insurance policy: corresponds to the expenses of contracting a medical insurance policy that covers the expenses of health eventualities that may arise during the stay of residents. 4. Only expenses incurred that directly and undoubtedly respond to the nature of the subsidized activity and are strictly necessary for carrying them out will be financed. 38/2003, of November 17, general on subsidies, the beneficiary of the subsidy must justify that the eligible expenses must have been paid within the payment terms provided for in the applicable sectoral regulations, or, failing that, in the established ones.
