Official description of the call
OBJECT The purpose of this call is the promotion of educational free time and the promotion of volunteering and youth participation through the granting of aid by the Quart de Poblet City Council to associations and educational centers of the municipality in 2025. These aid are intended for the implementation of youth initiative projects in which groups of adolescents and young people participate in projects aimed at youth participation, educational leisure and free time activities that allow the comprehensive development of youth and that educate in habits of participation and in values of commitment and social integration, also including those projects that promote activities and services in the community from the ApS (Service-Learning) methodology. The Service Learning methodology enables the acquisition of skills through the provision of services to the community, being an appropriate pedagogical strategy to promote youth participation, free time and education in values from the educational centers themselves, sociocultural animation and dynamization in the entities of the municipality. The theme and scope of action of the projects presented may address: the promotion of youth participation, educational free time, creative culture, the environment and ecology, intergenerational coexistence, emotional well-being, prevention of bullying and gender violence, equality and diversity, as well as social justice and culture of peace, within the framework of Democratic Values and Human Rights, for which networking and the participation of associations, municipal areas or other groups of the municipality. Those activities that, directly or indirectly, are paid for by any other budget concept of this City Council will not be subject to aid.
