EXTRACT OF THE OPEN CALL BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF CIUDAD REAL IN COMPETITIVE COMPETITION FOR THE GRANTING OF PRIZES IN THE XXVII EDITION OF THE CIUDAD REAL SHORT FESTIVAL 2025. In accordance with the provisions of articles 17.3.b and 20.8.a of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General of Subsidies, the extract of the call is published, the full text of which can be consulted in the National Subsidies Database. First. Beneficiaries. Participation in this Festival is open to works produced in Europe and Latin America as well as works directed by authors born or residing in Europe and Latin America. Second. Object. The purpose of this Call is to award various awards in the world of short films with the purpose of recognizing and stimulating creativity, as well as supporting its production and dissemination. Three MODALITIES of participation are established: FICTION: Fiction works with free themes. DOCUMENTARY: Documentary works with free themes ANIMATION: Works with free themes made with any animation technique. Third. Regulatory bases. The regulatory text of the general bases for the granting of subsidies by the Ciudad Real City Council and its autonomous bodies was approved by the Hon. City Council in plenary session held on May 27, 2021 and published in the B.O.P. of Ciudad Real no. 120 on June 25, 2021. Fourth. Amount. A total amount of €11,900.00 will be allocated to this call, which will be allocated to prizes and which will be allocated to budget application No. 2312 22625 “Other miscellaneous expenses Ciudad Real Short Festival” of the Municipal Budget of the Hon. Ciudad Real City Council extended for the year 2025. Fifth. Deadlines The deadline for submitting works was extended from January 31 to March 5, 2025, establishing the date of May 13, 2025 for the publication of the official and parallel Sixth section. Other data. Registration was done online through the platforms: FESTHOME MOVIBETA The works will not exceed 30 minutes in duration, credits included. Only works produced after January 1, 2023, that have not competed in previous editions of this Festival, will be admitted. Each participant may present a maximum of 2 works. A work cannot be presented in more than one modality. The works must be submitted entirely in Spanish or in the original version subtitled in this language. Ciudad Real, March 19, 2025.-
