Extract from the Resolution of the counselor of the Insular Area of Water, Education and Youth, Primary Sector and Waste, number 1409/2025, dated March 7, 2025, which calls for scholarships for students with special educational needs, year 2025. First. Object, purpose, beneficiaries and recipients The purpose of this scholarship is the granting, on a competitive basis, of financial aid to students with specific needs to support their schooling in specific centers, in special education units of ordinary centers, supported entirely with public funds, or other ordinary or specific centers that educate students who have special educational needs derived from disabilities at the time of the call. This scholarship is intended to provide financial compensation to educational centers so that they can intervene and fully address the needs that students with specific educational support needs require. Are recipients of this scholarship line willing to study at one of the following educational levels in a center located in Fuerteventura: ? Early Childhood Education? Primary Education? Compulsory Secondary Education? Intermediate and Higher Level Training Cycles? Programs aimed at obtaining an initial vocational qualification, basic vocational training or training programs for the transition to adult life. To be a beneficiary of the scholarships, which are announced by this Resolution, it will be necessary to meet the basic requirements established in articles 2, 72 and 73 of the regulatory bases. Second. Regulatory bases. Regulatory bases for the scholarships and study aid of the Island Council of Fuerteventura, approved by the Island Plenary of the Corporation in an ordinary session dated 04/26/2024, published in the BOP of Las Palmas number 82 dated 07/05/2024. Likewise, they are published on the corporation's website (www.cabildofuer.es). Third. Budget Credit. The budgetary credit, with which the call will be met, is conditional on the existence of adequate and sufficient credit at the time of the granting resolution, with a maximum amount of 140,000.00 euros charged to the budgetary application 40240.3260U.481.0725 of the current General Budget of the Cabildo de Fuerteventura. Room. Amount of scholarships. The scholarship will consist of a single amount, calculated based on the degree of disability of the person who can reach the status of beneficiary or the certificate from the educational and psycho-pedagogical guidance team, the guidance department of their educational center or the autonomous community, in the event that they present serious behavioral disorders. When the corresponding assessment is pending, a degree of disability of twenty-five percent (25%) will be provisionally attributed to the person for the purposes of this aid. The amounts according to the degree of disability will be the following: DEGREE OF DISABILITY AMOUNT 75%-100% €400.00 50%-75% €300.00 50%-25% €200.00 The amounts provided for in the previous table may be increased until the available credit is exhausted. In no case may the amount of this aid be below the amount of 200 euros. The amounts, in which the scholarships awarded are quantified, will be paid to the educational centers so that they can acquire the resources according to the type of educational need that said students present. The payment will be made in a single payment and, by bank transfer, directly to the educational center. Fifth. Application submission deadline. The educational centers will present both the Application and Annex I for each student who may be eligible to be a beneficiary of this scholarship, at the Electronic Headquarters of the Cabildo of Fuerteventura (sede.cabildofuer.es) or through the central electronic registry (rec.redsara.es). The deadline for submitting applications will be FIFTEEN WORKING DAYS, counting from the day following its publication in the Official Gazette of the Province of Las Palmas. The documentation to present in each case will be indicated during the application process at https://www.cabildofuer.es/cabildo/atencion-al-ciudadano/ayudas-subvenciones-y-becas/. The beneficiaries of this educational line may expressly object to the Cabildo de Fuerteventura consulting that information that is in the possession of other administrations.
