CALL 2025 FOR THE GRANTING OF AID FOR HOUSING RENTAL FOR YOUNG PEOPLE IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF AMOREBIETA-ETXANO

Official description of the call
First. Beneficiaries Natural persons, either individually or grouped in a cohabitation unit, may be beneficiaries of aid charged to the 2025 financial year. A cohabitation unit is made up of people united in marriage or as a registered de facto couple, and, where applicable, their dependent sons and daughters, as well as single-parent units formed by a single father or mother and dependent sons and daughters. Each and every one of the members of the cohabitation unit, on the date of publication in the Official Gazette of Bizkaia of this call and during the eligible period, must meet the following specific requirements: Be between 18 and 35 years old, with the exception of dependent minors who cohabit in the Cohabitation Unit. That no applicant or component member of the Cohabitation Unit own any home of their own, except in the event that they are joint owners of one or more homes acquired by inheritance or donation, in which none of the percentages of co-ownership exceed 50% and the value of the shares in the home does not exceed 75,000 euros. All people who are part of the Living Unit of the applicant must register in the subsidized home after formalizing the contract, a matter that they will certify prior to receiving the aid and must remain registered in the same during the period covered by the subsidy. Likewise, in the event that there are people, not holders of the contract, registered in the home with a date prior to the start of the contract, the contract holders must make the request to remove said people from the register, within the subsidy period. That, at least, one of the adult members of the cohabitation unit has been registered in the municipality of Amorebieta-Etxano for 10 years or for the last 2 consecutive years at the time of submitting the application. The income of the Coexistence Unit will be less than 28,000 euros gross per year. Regarding the composition of income, the amount of gross income derived from capital income for the last expired fiscal year may not exceed the figure of 601.10 euros per year as a whole. All members of the Coexistence Unit will have to be up to date with the payment of taxes, fees, excise duties and sanctions of the Amorebieta-Etxano City Council. No member of the Cohabitation Unit will have a family relationship with the tenant up to the second degree of consanguinity or affinity. In any case, to be considered a beneficiary, compliance with the conditions established in article 13 of General Law 38/2003 and 18 to 29 of Royal Decree 887/2006 and the Amorebieta-Etxano Subsidy Regulatory Ordinance must be proven. Second. Purpose The purpose of this call is to contribute in part to the payment of rent to young people between 18 and 35 years of age who have or undertake to do so before October 31 of the current year, of a home intended for their habitual residence under a rental regime in the municipality of Amorebieta-Etxano. The subsidy will be made according to the conditions established in the regulatory bases, for the rental expense assumed by the beneficiary for a minimum of twelve months, and as long as said conditions are maintained during said period of time Third. Regulatory Bases The Regulatory Bases for the granting of financial aid for the rental of housing for young people in the municipality of Amoebieta-Etxano, are published in BOB nº185 of September 25, 2018. Fourth. Amount The amount of the subsidy is established at a maximum of 50% of the eligible amount, with a maximum limit of 250.00 euros/month per application for a maximum period of 12 monthly payments. For the purposes of the provisions of the regulatory bases, those corresponding to garages and community and administration expenses, as well as those arising from contributions and excise taxes, are excluded from the concept of rent or eligible amount, even when they are expressly included in the corresponding contract. A fixed value of 30 euros per garage or community expenses described in the previous paragraph will be deducted from the cost of the monthly rental when they are included in the contract.
