Official description of the call
CALL.-The purpose of these rules is the call for the “Miss and Mister of the Cártama Fair and Festivities Contest 2025” whose purpose is the election of the Queen, Mister, Bridesmaids, Gentlemen of Honor, Miss Sympathy of the Cártama Fair and Festivities for the year 2025, which will be held on April 22 at the Nave Verde Campus at 23:00 hours. LEGAL REGIME.-This call will be governed, in all aspects that are applicable, by General Ordinance No. 16 regulating the granting of subsidies from the Cártama City Council, in Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies, by RD 887/2006 of July 21, by the Execution Bases of the Municipal Budget that is in force and any development regulations that are applicable. BUDGET APPLICATION.-The expenses inherent to this Competition for a total of 1,175.00 euros will be attributed to the budget application 3381.226.08 the amount of 650 euros in concept of payment of the prizes in kind and to the budget application 3381.489.01 the amount of 525 euros as payment for the cash prizes. COMPETITIVE COMPETITION.-The prizes inherent to this contest will be awarded on a competitive basis, based on the evaluation criteria contemplated, after study and evaluation by a Jury.PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS.-Each business in the municipality may register a candidate who must meet the requirements listed below for which purpose they will provide the documentation indicated:1.- Have an age between 16 (completed on the date of the election) and 35 years.2.- In the event that the candidate is a minor, the authorization of the father, mother or guardian must be given. REGISTRATIONS.-The bars and restaurants of the municipality of Cártama will present a letter addressed to the Celebrations Area indicating the candidates for Queen (first prize), Mister (first prize), First Lady (second prize), First Gentleman (second prize), Second Lady (third prize), Second Gentleman (third prize), First prize Miss Sympathy and First prize Mr. Sympathy within the period from March 21 to March 23, both inclusive, at the City Hall Entry Registry, located at Calle Juan Carlos I, nº 62, or at the Mayor's Office of Cártama Station, located at Calle Brussels, s/n, or through the electronic office https://cartama.sedelectronica.es. The election of the winners will be made from among the candidates proposed by the establishments that have submitted a written statement and are chosen by the qualifying jury. PRESENTATION OF THE CANDIDATES.-On March 23, the official presentation of the candidates proposed by the bars and restaurants of the municipality will take place for election by the Jury on April 22.JURY AND ASSESSMENT CRITERIA.-The qualifying jury for the election of the Queen and Mister of the Fair and Parties, of the Ladies of Honor and Gentlemen of Honor and of Mr. and Miss Sympathy will be made up of the following members: President: Jesús Bueno Guerrero Secretary: Juan Delgado González First Member: Mario López Merino Second Member: David Prado Peña Third Member: Lola Martínez Wilson As for the evaluation criteria by the jury of the contest, it will be different in each of the candidates' tests. For the election of Queen and Mister of the Cártama Fair and Festivals 2025, 1st Knight and 1st Lady, 2nd Knight and 2nd Lady, the candidates will take 4 different tests, 3 parades and a personal interview with the jury. It should be noted that, in the presentation of the candidates on March 23, no evaluation will be made, only the presentation and imposition of bands as candidates will be made. Below, the four tests that will be carried out and the aspects to be assessed in each of them are specified. The jury will evaluate each aspect giving it a value from 0 to 10 points, the winner will be the one who obtains the highest score in the sum of all aspects. 1. Opening parade (opening parade of the gala, as a presentation of the candidates): - Body expression on the catwalk. - Facial expression on the catwalk. 2.
