Official description of the call

In accordance with the provisions of articles 17.3.b and 20.8.a of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies, the extract of the call is published, the full text of which can be consulted in the National Subsidies Database (http://www.pap.minhap.gob.es/bdnstrans/index): First. Beneficiaries: Municipalities of the Community of Madrid with a population between 1,500 and 250,000 inhabitants, that have a municipal library center or a project for its creation and that also meet the rest of the requirements indicated in the call. Second. Object: The equipment and implementation of new services and technologies in municipal public libraries. The line of action covered by the subsidy is the provision of furniture and computer equipment for newly created libraries and libraries for which there is an expansion, remodeling or transfer project (line a). Third. Regulatory bases: The regulatory bases of the aid were established by Order 2352/2022, of November 29, of the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Sports (BOCM no. 295, of December 12, 2022). Room. Amount: €350,000. Fifth. Deadline for submitting applications: Fourteen business days counted from the day following the publication of the extract of the call in the Official Gazette of the Community of Madrid. Sixth. Relations between the Community of Madrid and interested parties: 1. The Administration will interact electronically with interested parties, so notifications will be made through electronic means. For this purpose, the applicant is required to be registered in the Telematic Notifications service of the Community of Madrid, available in the "Electronic Administration. General Access Point" section through the corporate portal of the Community of Madrid: "sede.comunidad.madrid". 2. The successive notifications, relative to the acts that make up the concession procedure, will be published on the corporate portal of the Community of Madrid, at the electronic address: "sede.comunidad.madrid". In accordance with the provisions of article 45.1 b) of Law 39/2015, of October 1, said publications will replace notifications with the same effects. Seventh. Other information: The projects to be subsidized must have been carried out in the period between October 1, 2024 and the last day of subsidy justification. The deadline for submitting the supporting documentation for the subsidy and the rest of the documents indicated in the call ends on September 30, 2025. The payment of the subsidy will be made after the justification of the aid.
