Official description of the call
First. Beneficiaries. Associations of mothers, fathers, families and guardians of female students that are duly constituted and registered in the registry of legal entities of the Generalitat of Catalonia may be beneficiaries of the subsidies regulated in these bases. Educational centers in Figueres (primary and secondary education centers, public and private subsidized schools) may also apply for subsidies if the center's association does not request it or there is no family association in the center. In any case, the following conditions and requirements must be met: - Have justified the previous subsidies granted by this city council once the deadlines have expired, except in the case of resignation submitted in writing to the municipal registry in the event that in one or any of the annuities the entity does not carry out the subsidized project/activity and/or service due to unforeseen causes. - Be up to date with your tax obligations with the Figueres City Council, the Generalitat of Catalonia, the State and Social Security - Comply, if applicable, with Law 26/2015, of July 29, modifying the system of protection for children and adolescents, in terms of professions, trades and activities that involve contact with minors. - Preferably use Catalan as the vehicular language of subsidized projects, in their writing, dissemination and practical development. Second. Object. The purpose of this call is to regulate the granting, by the Figueres City Council, of subsidies to Associations of mothers, fathers, families and guardians of students in schools (public and chartered private) and institutes in the city, and in the city's primary and secondary education centers, for the organization and implementation of extracurricular activities, the holding of festivals and cultural actions for the benefit of the educational community and the purchase of consumable materials for the execution of the aforementioned activities. Third. Regulatory bases. The call is made in accordance with the bases approved by the Plenary Session of the City Council in a session dated September 18, 2024 and published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Girona number 194, dated October 8, 2024. Fourth. Amount. The subsidies granted to this call will be the responsibility of the budget application with the amount detailed: • 25 202 32600 48003 AMPAS SUBSIDIES with an amount of €25,000.00, being an expense with no financing affected. Fifth. Deadline for submitting applications. The deadline for submitting applications for this call will be from March 24 to April 7, 2025, both included Sixth. Other data. Purpose of the subsidy. The public purpose of the subsidy is to support and encourage the participation of students in these activities, as well as to guarantee equity in access, also to make possible the survival of Associations of mothers, fathers and families, which have an important role in school coexistence and equal opportunities in education. Nature of the subsidy. The subsidies object of this call, in accordance with the bases approved by the Plenary of the City Council in a session dated September 18, 2024 and published in BOP number 194, of October 8, 2024, are for all purposes spent under public law, they are discretionary, voluntary and contingent in nature, they do not generate any right to obtain other subsidies in subsequent years and cannot be claimed as precedent. The procedure for its concession is processed under a competitive competition regime, in accordance with article 22 of Law 38/2003, of November 17, in accordance with the principles of publicity, transparency, competition book, objectivity, equality, non-discrimination, effectiveness and efficiency. Execution period The execution period of the activities or projects subsidized in this call is the 2024/2025 school year. Compatibility with other subsidies The subsidies granted are compatible with any granted by other public administrations, public or private entities for the same activity. Beneficiary entities will have to communicate the request and/or obtaining of any concurrent public subsidy that has not been declared with the application.
