Official description of the call
First. Beneficiaries: Students enrolled in educational centers in Cantabria during the 2024/2025 school year who cannot use the transport routes contracted by the Ministry of Education, Vocational Training and Universities of the Government of Cantabria and who are in any of the following circumstances: a. Students enrolled in public centers located in Cantabria in the Second Cycle of Early Childhood Education, Primary Education or Compulsory Secondary Education who, not having a teaching center appropriate to the level of studies they must complete in the town where they have their family domicile, cannot use the transport routes contracted for this purpose by the Ministry of Education, Vocational Training and Universities to attend classes. b. Students enrolled in the Second Cycle of Early Childhood Education, Primary Education or Compulsory Secondary Education in Home-Schools or other centers with residence dependent on this Department, to facilitate the transfer to their respective homes during the weekends when the school transport service is not contracted for this purpose with a company in the sector. c. Students of compulsory education levels, who are participants in any of the following programs, as long as the students meet the requirements established in the second article: - Bilingual Section of other languages - Special Attention to SPORT (ESPADE) - Reinforcement, Orientation and Support Program (PROA) in Institutes that have any of these programs - Center Educational Reinforcement Program (PREC) in centers that have any of these programs. d. Students with physical limitations of a motor nature or with special educational needs who carry out school education studies, regardless of the legal regime of the Center, up to the amounts established in article eight, as long as they cannot use regular transportation services. This exceptional aid may complement that granted in the call of the Ministry of Education, Vocational Training and Universities for students with special educational needs, without in any case the sum of both exceeding the real cost of the service or the maximum amount established in the fifth section of the eighth article. and. Students with a specific need for educational support in the Compulsory Secondary Education stage who must attend, as indicated by the center in which they are enrolled, other locations to complete their academic training in order to avoid early abandonment of education. F. Students at non-compulsory levels of education who reside in municipalities classified as at risk of depopulation, who cannot use the transportation services contracted by the Ministry of Education, Vocational Training and Universities and who go to public centers to complete Baccalaureate studies and/or Training Cycles. The affected municipalities are those detailed in Order PRE/1/2025, of January 2, of the Ministry of the Presidency, Justice, Security and Administrative Simplification (BOC of 3) Second. Purpose: Collaborate on transportation costs that interested parties may incur. Third. Regulatory bases: Order ECD/14/2016, of March 3, 2016, which establishes the regulatory bases for the granting of individualized aid for school transport, published in the Official Gazette of Cantabria (BOC) of March 10, 2016, modified by orders ECD/14/2017, of February 13, 2017, (BOC of February 20, 2017). 2017) and ECD/15/2019, of February 15, 2019 (BOC of the 25th).
