Official description of the call
Description of the Call: Agreement of the Local Government Board, dated March 20, 2025, which approves the Call, under a competitive competition regime, for subsidies intended for the maintenance and operation of the headquarters of associations and social and non-profit entities. Beneficiaries: Associations and social and non-profit entities that have their headquarters in Elche, under ownership or lease, that are registered in the Municipal Registry of citizen entities, with a minimum age of one year, and that meet the requirements set out in Clause Five of the Call. Purpose: To attend to the general maintenance and operating expenses of its headquarters, with the purpose of developing activities, programs and services for the benefit of especially vulnerable groups or at risk of social exclusion in the municipality of Elche. The programs, services and activities to be carried out by the associations requesting a subsidy must have a preventive, intervention, training, informative, social awareness, promotion and social insertion purpose, which complement the municipal competence in terms of municipal social services, respond to social needs and contribute to the improvement of the quality of life and equal opportunities for groups that are especially vulnerable or at risk of social exclusion. Submission Deadline: The deadline for submitting applications will be 30 calendar days from the day following the publication of the extract of the Call in the Official Gazette of the Province of Alicante.
