III International Orchestra Conducting Competition “Llíria, City of Music”

Official description of the call

In compliance with the provisions of the third section of the operative part of Mayoral Decree no. 2025001236, of March 27, 2025, hereby and for general knowledge, through the National Subsidies Database (BDNS), an extract of the call for the III International Orchestra Conducting Competition “Llíria, City of Music” is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Valencia; as well as announcements on the Electronic Notices Board of the Llíria City Council, municipal website (www.lliria.es) and official page of the contest (www.aesdo.com), granting a period of 10 business days from the day following the aforementioned extract to submit applications, in accordance with the third base of the regulations, the full text of which is available on the municipal website www.lliria.es:  Regulatory bases approved by plenary agreement in an ordinary session held in dated February 25, 2021 and published in the BOP of Valencia no. 85 dated May 6, 2021.  Budget application: 800 338 48901 CULTURE/INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION DIRECC. ORCHESTRA.  Maximum total amount of the subsidy: €5,000.00.  Object, conditions and purpose of the subsidy: Emphasize the international recognition of Llíria as a Creative City of Music by UNESCO, in collaboration with the Spanish Association of Orchestral Directors (AESDO), by welcoming young orchestra conductors in order to promote their professional career in an environment of recognized cultural background, as a commitment and promotion of new projects in the musical field.  Maximum amount to be obtained by the winning person: €5,000.00.  Concession procedure: Competitive competition.  Competent body for the instruction of the procedure: Department of Culture.  Competent body for the resolution of the procedure: Mayor's Office or Department of Culture in use of delegated powers.  Requirements to apply for the subsidy and how to accredit them: In accordance with the provisions of the second and fourth bases.  Deadline for submitting applications: Ten business days counting from the day following the publication of the call in the Official Gazette of the Province of Valencia.  Documents and information that must accompany the application: Those provided in the fourth base in response to the singularities and criteria established in the call.  Possibility of reformulating requests in the terms provided in article 27 of the LGS: It is not contemplated in the bases.  Assessment criteria: Those established in the eighth base.  Period and form of resolution, notification and/or publication: According to the provisions of the fourteenth base.
