Official description of the call
I.- OBJECT.- The object of this call is the granting of the Vicent Andrés Estellés literary prizes, for poetry and short fiction in Valencian, in accordance with the principles of publicity, transparency, objectivity, equality and non-discrimination. The prizes for the contest will be distributed in the following terms: Short Narrative 1st Prize: €500 2nd Prize: €300 3rd Prize: €200 Poetry 1st Prize: €500 2nd Prize: €300 3rd Prize: €200 Didín Puig Único Prize: €300 It is awarded to the short narrative work that, in the Jury's opinion, stands out for its grace, sarcasm and irony, very characteristic aspects of Didín Puig's way of being, expressing himself, and writing. This prize may or may not coincide with the other prizes awarded for short fiction. The amount of these prizes will be subject to the applicable legal withholding and the remaining tax regulations in force at the time of their delivery, and payment will be made by bank transfer to the current account provided by the winners, after justifying their ownership. II.- BENEFICIARIES: All students of the Second Cycle of ESO, Baccalaureate and training cycles of the Ribera institutes will be eligible for the prizes. Natural persons who are not subject to any of the prohibition causes to obtain the status of beneficiaries established in article 13 of Law 38/2003, of November 17, general on subsidies, may participate in these literary awards. To this end, and prior to the approval of the administrative act of granting the prize, the people who are awarded will prove that they are up to date with their tax and Social Security obligations and are not debtors due to the resolution of reimbursement. III.- CALL: Mayor's Resolution 2025/0284, by which the call for celebrating the XXIII EDITION OF THE “VICENT ANDRÉS ESTELLÉS” SHORT NARRATIVE AND POETRY CONTEST is approved. They will be published through the National Subsidies Database, in addition to the Benimodo City Council website (https://www.benimodo.es/) IV.- APPLICATIONS: Duly completed and signed applications must be submitted preferably through the General Registry of the Benimodo City Council without prejudice to the provisions of article 16 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations. The deadline for submitting applications will be until May 30, 2025. The documentation outlined in clause V of the call must be provided, which will consist of: a) Duly completed application for participation b) Work. V.- RESOURCE REGIME: An appeal for reconsideration may be optionally filed against this call before the same body that issued the act, within a period of one month, counting from the day following the date of publication in the Official Gazette of the Province of Valencia, in accordance with the provisions of articles 123 and 124 Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure of the Administrations. Publicly, or directly, contentious-administrative appeal within a period of two months, also counted from the day following its publication in the Official Gazette of the Province of Valencia, before the Contentious-Administrative Court of Valencia (articles 8, 14 and 46.1 of the Law regulating the Contentious-Administrative Jurisdiction, of July 13, 1998), without both being able to be simultaneous resources.
