EXTRACT FROM THE CALL FOR GRANTS FOR THE JORDI FRIGOLA ARPA BACHELOR'S AND TRAINING CYCLES RESEARCH PRIZE. ANNUALITY 2025. Object and purpose Subsidies on a competitive basis for students of Baccalaureate and Intermediate and Higher Level Training Cycles from any institute in Catalonia during the 2024-25 academic year, and who meet the requirements detailed in point 2 of the specific regulatory bases for the area of Education. Approved in the Plenary Session of the Corporation on November 26, 2023, published in the BOP of Girona no. 49 dated March 10, 2024 and published in full in BOP no. 46 edict 1910 dated March 7, 2025. Financial allocation and determination of budget application The total amount allocated to the call is seven hundred euros (€805.00): four hundred two euros and fifty cents (€402.50) for the Baccalaureate Research Work and four hundred two euros and fifty cents (€402.50) for the Synthesis Credit or Project Training Cycles charged to budget application number 05 3200 4800004 of the current municipal budget. Deadline for submitting applications Applications will be submitted within 15 business days (starting from the day following the publication of the call in the BOP of Girona) through the electronic headquarters of the La Bisbal d'Empordà City Council. Evaluation criteria High School Research Work Award: FORMAL ASPECTS 20 points 1.-Linguistic competence (spelling, level of syntax,...) 5 points 2.-Correct citation of sources 5 points 3.-Appropriate structure (cover, index, objectives, conclusions, bibliography, annexes,...) 5 points 4.-Layout (margins, justified text, line spacing, numbering,...) 5 points CONTENTS 80 points 1.-Originality of the theme of the work. Creative ability. 10 points 2.-The content provides relevant information of interest to the city (it is a research that had not been carried out previously, it provides useful and significant information for the city, objectives, hypotheses, conclusions...) 30 points 3.-Level of writing (it is unpublished or a paraphrase of the sources, it is very literal, it shows a certain mastery of the content, capacity for synthesis, analysis, comparison, collection of information, use of specific vocabulary,...) 20 points 4.-Methodology (ability to express in an orderly and coherent manner the research process, formulation and development of the hypothesis or question to be investigated and results. Personal conclusions. Payment method Payment of the prizes awarded will be made within a period of two months, counting from the date of notification of the agreement, by bank transfer to the current account indicated in the creditor form to be presented by the winners. The award agreement will be notified to all interested parties.
