Call for subsidies for the municipalities of Mallorca up to 55,000 inhabitants to support youth by 2025 BDNS: 827657 Extract from the agreement of the Executive Council of the Consell Mallorca, in a session of April 23, 2025 of the Department of the Presidency of the Consell de Mallorca regarding the call for subsidies for the municipalities of Mallorca up to 55,000 inhabitants to support the youth for the year 2025. In accordance with the provisions of articles 17.3 b and 20.8 a of Law 38/2003, of November 17, general on subsidies, the extract of the call is published, the text of which can be consulted in the National Subsidies Database (https://www.infosubvenciones.es/bdnstrans/GE/es/convocatoria/827657). 1. Purpose of the call In accordance with the 2025 Strategic Subsidy Plan, the purpose of this call is to support local entities for the launch or maintenance of youth revitalization services and the promotion of projects related to Youth, by promoting programs, activities, campaigns and/or projects of youth revitalization and information services that are developed from the youth areas and that include the following objectives: Facilitate leisure activities and projects for the group young people to develop abilities, attitudes and skills that contribute to acquiring values such as democracy, participation, equality, diversity, coexistence, volunteering, solidarity and respect for oneself, others and the environment. Facilitate the exercise of active citizenship of the young population in social, cultural and educational actions through the initiatives proposed at the local level. Promote models of healthy habits, social inclusion and emotional well-being for youth. Furthermore, in accordance with art 42.1 of Law 5/2022 on Youth Policies of the Balearic Islands, all municipalities with a population equal to or greater than 5,000 inhabitants must have five-year planning of programs and services aimed at Youth. For this reason, it is intended to promote the implementation of the Local Youth Plan (PLJ) in those local entities that before the publication of this call do not yet have a Local Youth Plan, and those other local entities that have it pending approval or already approved by the competent body prior to publication of this call will be helped with the cost of its adaptation to Law 5/2022 on youth policies of the Balearic Islands. 2. Beneficiary entity Town councils of Mallorca, with a population of up to 55,000 inhabitants, divided into two lines: Line 1 (L1): Town councils of Mallorca, with a population equal to or less than 30,000 inhabitants and the smaller local entity of Palmanyola. Line 2 (L2): Town councils of Mallorca, with a population of more than 30,000 inhabitants and less than 55,000 inhabitants. The data referring to the population that will be taken into account are those recorded in the Statistical Institute of the Balearic Islands (IBESTAT) as of January 15, 2025. 3. Eligible actions and expenses 3.1. Eligible actions: Programs, campaigns and/or youth revitalization projects and/or youth information that are developed from youth areas, as well as others, aimed at the following topics: emotional-sexual information, mental health, learning emotional management, addiction prevention, mobility, emancipation, work and/or on the implementation of services or participatory processes. Programs, campaigns and/or projects must meet the following conditions: They must have a minimum duration of three months. It must be executed during the eligible period. It must contain a set of interrelated actions with objectives common to all actions executed to achieve a specific purpose. It must be formalized with the model established in the call (annex 3). Any of the subsidized activities must be aimed only at young people up to 30 years old. Implementation and/or adaptation of a Local Youth Plan (PLJ) participated and aimed at the young population up to 30 years old. In accordance with art 42.1 of Law 5/2022 on Youth Policies of the Balearic Islands, all municipalities with a population equal to or greater than 5,000 inhabitants must have a five-year planning of programs and services aimed at Youth.
