Official description of the call
First. Beneficiaries The following beneficiaries may be beneficiaries of these subsidies: Merchants' Associations, Group of Stores and Union of Merchants, non-profit, with associated businesses in the city of L'Hospitalet, that develop programs, projects or activities that correspond to the subsidy line and the strategic objective established in the Strategic Subsidy Plan 2023-2025 indicated in section 1 of this call. The requirements for the application and the way to accredit them are included in the particular bases of the call. Second. Object. The purpose of this call is to contribute to the development of programs, projects and activities of citizen entities that promote an activity of public utility, social interest or promotion of the achievement of a public purpose, the objective of which corresponds to the following strategic objective established in the Strategic Grants Plan 2023-2025, the subsidy line, the management area and, within this, the management service indicated below: Strategic objective: “Promote the “L’Hospitalet” brand within the framework of the Metropolitan Area and Economic Development through the promotion of trade, business, tourism and the social economy in a framework of governance between the public sector and the private sector in activities of general interest” Subsidy line: “Promotion of urban commerce” Management area: Transforming City Area Management service: Third Trade. Regulatory bases Particular bases approved by the Local Government Board on March 5, 2025 and published in the BOPB number CVE 202510048789 dated March 7, 2025 Fourth. Amount: The amount of this call is set at the amount of €85,000.00, which will be allocated in the following budget application of the municipal budget for the year 2025: Budget application: 05 4390 24890000Denomination of the application: Transfers from families and non-profit institutions.Initial credit: €85,000.00 The granting of the subsidies included in the This call is conditional on the consequent existence of adequate and sufficient credit at the time of the granting resolution. As a general rule, grants will exceed 50% of the total budget of the project, program or activity. However, the qualifying commission may propose that this percentage be exceeded or that up to 100% of said budget be subsidized, with prior justification of the circumstances of local public interest by the instructing body that endorses it. In no case may the proposed amount exceed the amount requested by the entity. Fifth. Deadline for submitting applications. The deadline for submitting applications for the general and specific subsidies modality will be twenty business days from the day following the publication of an extract of this call in the Official Gazette of the Province of Barcelona. Any documentation related to these Bases (applications, forms, allegations, etc.), that must be submitted, will be done in electronic format at the City Council's electronic headquarters. Sixth. Other information This call provides for the following subsidy modalities: a) General subsidies, when their purpose is to grant financial aid for the overall financing of the activity that the beneficiary carries out from January 1 to December 31, 2025. b) Specific subsidies, when their purpose is to grant financial aid for the financing of a specific activity or project that is developed during the year 2025, except that the concession agreement establishes a different execution period, the which can never be longer than 12 months and must always start within this year. A specific subsidy cannot be requested for an activity that is already included in the project for which a general subsidy is requested. In accordance with articles 72 and 74 RGS, the justification of compliance with the conditions and objectives determined in the act of granting the subsidy will be accredited in the following way: a) By means of a supporting account with the provision of proof of expenditure: subsidies of an amount less than €60,000. b) By means of a supporting account with provision of an auditor's report: subsidies of equal amounts or their
