Official description of the call
First. Objective To regulate the procedure for granting subsidies under a free competition regime to promote activities that, in the field of culture and in its various forms, promote non-profit cultural associations, which can be considered of cultural interest for the City Council of O Grove and aimed at the general population. Second. Beneficiaries Natural and legal persons who meet the following requirements may apply for the subsidies regulated in this call: Be validly constituted cultural associations, duly registered in the Municipal Registry of Associations and be fulfilling their purposes, at least, during the two years prior to the publication of the call. Non-profit (accredited by a responsible declaration from the representative). Have its registered office and carry out its activities within the territorial scope of the O Grove City Council. Carry out activities of cultural interest within the municipality. Not be involved in any of the cases of inability or incompatibility to receive public aid or subsidies. Be up to date with tax and social security obligations. Comply with the requirements established in article 13 of Law 38/2003, of November 17, general on subsidies and its Regulation, approved by RD 887/2006, of July 21. Third. Regulatory bases Approved by Agreement of the Local Government Board dated 04/14/2025 that will be published on the notice board, in the electronic headquarters of the O Grove City Council and by the usual means. Room. Credit, amount and limits of subsidies. The granting of aid will be subject to budgetary availability for the period between January 1 and December 1, 2025, charged to the credit of application 334.48000 of the municipal budget for 2025, and may not exceed the global amount of €30,000. This amount will be distributed among the requesting associations and entities according to the criteria established in the ninth base. The amount of the subsidy will depend on the programs and the resources available to partially cover them, it will be variable and the amount requested by the entity or association and the valuation and ranking made by the Valuation Commission will be determined in each case. The subsidy may not exceed the cost of the activity or activities to which it is applied, including in the calculation all subsidies received, directly or indirectly, by the beneficiary for the same purpose, both from public and private entities. In no case may the amount of the subsidy be of such an amount that, alone or in conjunction with subsidies or aid from other public administrations or other public or private entities, it exceeds the total cost of the activity to be carried out by the beneficiary. In the event that the amount resulting from the application of the score exceeds the budget proposed for it, the municipal contribution will be reduced until it equals the sum of the total expenses. Fifth. Place and deadline for registration. At the Electronic Headquarters of the O Grove City Council or in any of the ways provided for in article 16.4 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, the common administrative procedure of public administrations, the deadline for submitting applications will be 30 calendar days counted from the day following the publication of the extract of the call for these bases in the Official Gazette of the Province of Pontevedra.
