Official description of the call
First.- Beneficiaries. Companies (SMEs and individual entrepreneurs) with their own legal personality may be beneficiaries of this aid, which are validly incorporated at the time of submission of the aid application, are not disqualified from obtaining public subsidies, have a work center in Asturias in which they carry out their activity and present a project to be developed in the Principality of Asturias, belong to the sectors: Industrial, Industrial Services (including logistics) and the Construction sector, regarding the execution of works, provided that the activity carried out coincides with one of the eligible IAEs established in the call. SMEs must have one or more employees or one or more partners of the company whose relationship with the company can be classified as employment (in both cases full-time or equivalent). Self-employed persons must have one or more full-time or equivalent employees, with the self-employed person being counted as an employee. Communities of property and civil societies, associations, foundations and in general non-profit entities, as well as companies that are involved in any of the dissolution cases included in commercial legislation, are expressly excluded. Second.- Object. The purpose of this call is the granting of subsidies under a competitive competition regime, to support investment projects that are carried out within the territorial scope of the Principality of Asturias and that implement and develop solutions in the field of Industry 4.0 (I4.0) with the aim of achieving an improvement in competitiveness. Third.- Regulatory bases. Resolution of July 2, 2024, of the Ministry of Science, Business, Training and Employment, approving the regulatory bases for the granting of subsidies by the Asturian Science and Competitiveness Agency SEKUENS, intended for activities related to the promotion and promotion of R&D&i in the Principality of Asturias under a competitive competition regime (BOPA no. 134 of 10-VII-2024). Fourth.- Amount. The maximum total amount authorized to finance this call for aid in the year 2025 will be SEVEN HUNDRED THOUSAND EUROS (€700,000.00), charged to the Agency's budget, an amount that has been authorized by Resolution of the Vice President of the Agency dated February 28, 2025. It can be expanded by €350,000.00. The financing comes from the Agency's own budget, and aid may be co-financed by the European Union through the FTJ. Fifth.- Application submission deadline. From the calendar day following the publication of this extract in the Official Gazette of the Principality of Asturias, until 2:00 p.m. on June 25, 2025, peninsular time in Spain.
