Official description of the call
In a session on May 7, 2025, the Executive Council of the Consell de Mallorca approved the following agreement: «1. Approve the call for 2025 subsidies for non-profit entities for the development of music festivals in Mallorca. 2. Authorize an expense of €275,000.00 under budget application 20.33450.48907 for the year 2025 to process this call. 3. Publish the call in the Official Gazette of the Balearic Islands. Against the agreement that approves this call, which does not put an end to the administrative procedure, an appeal may be filed within a period of one month, counting from the day following the publication of the call. The appeal can be formally filed before the Executive Council or before the Plenary Session of the Island Council of Mallorca, which is the competent body to resolve it. Against the express dismissal of the appeal, a contentious-administrative appeal may be filed before the corresponding Contentious Administrative Court of Palma, within a period of two months, counting from the day after receiving notification of the dismissal of said appeal. If after three months from the filing of the appeal, the express resolution notification has not been received, it is deemed to have been rejected due to silence and you may file a contentious-administrative appeal before the corresponding Contentious Administrative Court of Palma, without time limitation. Notwithstanding the above, you may file, if appropriate, any other remedy you deem appropriate. All this in accordance with Law 29/1998, of July 13, regulating contentious-administrative jurisdiction and Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the common administrative procedure of public administrations. Regulatory bases and advertising The regulatory bases of this call are included in the General Subsidies Ordinance of the Council of Mallorca. (Approved by Plenary Agreement of December 23, 2016, BOIB no. 21, of February 18, 2017, modified by Plenary Agreement of June 14, 2018, BOIB no. 96, of August 4, 2018). The Consell de Mallorca, in compliance with the provisions of article 19.2 of the General Subsidies Ordinance, will publish this call in the Official Gazette of the Balearic Islands. Likewise, the information corresponding to the call will be transferred to the National Subsidies Database. 2. Budget allocation The amount of €275,000.00 is allocated for the aid of this call from budget application 20.33450.48907 of the 2025 budget, distributed among the lines mentioned below and as follows: - Line 1: €215,000.00. For musical activities developed by companies with a budget equal to or greater than €40,000.00. - Line 2: €60,000.00. For musical activities developed by companies with a budget of less than €40,000.00. If, once the amounts of aid for each line have been calculated, and as long as the budget stability plan of the Consell de Mallorca allows it, there is a surplus, the evaluation committee may propose to the examining body to increase the other line, (by the amount of said remainder) whose budget allocation has not been sufficient to meet the maximum grant amounts and percentages established in point 8 of this call. 3. Object 1. The purpose of this call is to promote the creation, production and musical programming (concerts, festivals and musical cycles) by supporting the associative fabric of the music of Mallorca and, consequently, carry out the promotion and dissemination of music on the island both from the perspective of production and its programming. In this sense, the aid from this call seeks to promote, support and encourage the realization of musical projects in Mallorca. 2. Through this call, cultural projects consisting of: - The creation, production and programming of concerts in Mallorca will be subsidized. - The holding of music festivals in Mallorca. For purposes
