Official description of the call
First. Beneficiaries. UCLM doctoral students with academic supervision in force in the 2024/2025 academic year may apply for this call, at most in their third year of academic supervision if it is full-time, or equivalent in the case that the supervision is part-time, and who maintain the status of enrolled until the end of the grant execution period, who are directed by UCLM professors who carry out their activity on the Toledo campus or Talavera de la Reina. The training activity should preferably focus on topics related to Toledo and its province, and take place at the UCLM facilities on the Toledo or Talavera de la Reina Campus. Beneficiaries must successfully develop the researcher training plan designed by their thesis director, who will be responsible for the project presented. Those responsible for the projects will have to be professors and/or PhD researchers from the UCLM, full-time, and who carry out their activity on the Toledo or Talavera de la Reina campus, for the entire duration of the aid and who necessarily belong to one of the following groups: a. Teaching and Research Staff. b. UCLM Research Staff, Distinguished, Beatriz Galindo, María Zambrano or similar. c. Research Staff of the Ramón y Cajal Program and the Juan de la Cierva Program at UCLM. d. CSIC research personnel assigned to the centers, mixed or associated units CSICUCLM, as long as they carry out their work in UCLM centers. Second. Object. Financial funds are provided to support the start of research training for students enrolled in UCLM doctoral programs in the 2024/2025 academic year, which must extend throughout the entire period of enjoyment of this aid, through the allocation of financial aid to cover the costs of executing the selected initiation projects for research training. A maximum of 5 training projects will be awarded, one for each of the five major scientific areas: Health Sciences, Experimental Sciences, Engineering and Architecture, Social and Legal Sciences, and Art and Humanities. In the event that any of the areas are left empty due to lack of applications, the corresponding aid will be included in the offer of the other areas, taking into account the number of applications received. 5% are reserved for students with a disability equal to or greater than 33%. The distribution of aid by areas established here will also be taken into account for the management of possible replacements. The selected projects will have a duration that will extend from July 1, 2025 to December 31, 2025. The following concepts will be financeable within each training project: - Amount of a research training scholarship for the person beneficiary of the aid: a doctoral student with academic supervision in force and who is enrolled in the 2024-2025 academic year at most in their third year of supervision academic. - Expenses on consumables used for research incurred in research training projects during the duration of the aid and/or travel and subsistence allowances for travel to meetings of the research team. Third. Regulatory bases. Regulatory bases that form part of the full text of the call. Room. Amount of aid. The budget for this call amounts to 25,000 euros. The financial envelope for each of the grants will be 5,000 euros gross. The gross monthly amount of the research training grant will be 800 euros. The maximum amount of expenses on consumables and/or travel and subsistence allowances will be 200 euros. Fifth. Application submission deadline. The deadline for submitting applications will be 10 business days from the day of publication of the extract of the call in the DOCM. Sixth. Other data. The following documentation must be attached to the application form: i. Academic record and abbreviated Curriculum Vitae (CVA) of the applicant. ii.
