REGULATORY BASES AND CALL FOR 2025 OF THE BASQUE LANGUAGE SERVICE FOR THE GRANTING OF AID TO LEARN BASQUE LANGUAGE

Official description of the call
First. Object. The purpose of this call is to regulate the conditions for granting aid to all residents of Zumaia who have taken Basque language and literacy courses for adults during the 2024-2025 academic year. Second. Beneficiaries. Those residents of Zumaia who have taken courses for learning the Basque language and literacy for adults during the 2024-2025 academic year will be beneficiaries of these subsidies, as long as they comply with the conditions established in this call. Third. Regulatory bases. -General ordinance regulating the granting of subsidies by the Zumaia City Council and its Autonomous Bodies (Official Gazette of Gipuzkoa no. 151, of August 11, 2020). - Specific bases for granting aid to learn Basque (Official Gazette of Gipuzkoa No. 163, of August 29, 2022). Room. Budget. For the subsidies of this call, €16,000.00 will be allocated, which is found in item 1 0200.481.335.10.01 2025 (105). Fifth. Deadline and method of submitting applications. Applications must be submitted from July 1 to August 2 in the case of first call applications (for courses from October to June), and from September 9 to October 11 in the case of second call applications (for summer courses). Applications will be submitted to the Zumaia Municipal Registry or by any of the means provided for in article 16.4 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations. They may also be submitted by electronic registration by accessing the electronic headquarters of the City Council through its website (www.zumaia.eus) Sixth. Amounts For people who have been unemployed during the course of the course, the amount of the subsidy will be 100% of the tuition paid. For the rest, the amount of the subsidy will be 75% of the tuition paid by the student. The maximum amount that will be subsidized per applicant will be 600 euros for full courses and 200 euros for summer courses. Seventh. Compatibility The aid granted will be compatible with any other aid received for the same purpose, provided that there is no overfinancing with respect to the total costs of the object of the aid. The subsidy from the Zumaia City Council will be complementary to that granted by HABE.
